This is a vegetarian restaurant with lots of vegan options, but for some reason on our more recent visit, the server insisted it was "completely vegan," which isn't possible knowing they have dishes with eggs in them. Be sure to ask lots of questions if you have particular dietary needs.
It isn't cheap, but I consider this to be a "specialty restaurant" that can meet most dietary needs and the quality is so good that it is fairly priced. For those on a budget, I recommend lunch specials (which aren't available on holidays, some of which they are open for).
Our most recent visit was on Thanksgiving Day and we were so happy they were open so we didn't have to cook vegan at home when my nephew was visiting.
Since the specials were not available, we had to order from the main menu, but the portions were huge and most people (except for pigs like me) will probably get two meals out of it.
I had Mushroom Crispy House Chicken and it was absolutely delish and I left none of it for later; ate every bite!
My nephew had some type of combination with fake meat and lots of veggies with a nice sauce; the serving was huge. He enjoyed it and I tried some too.
I have to help my order next time we go cuz she ordered Fried Rice with Veg Shrimp from the Rice & Noodle category, not realizing it would be mostly rice. Next time I will help her order an entree because those will have mostly the protein items and then one can order rice on the side, which works out better, in my opinion.
The vegan tiramisu and carrot cake are excellent for dessert (and I generally stay clear of carrot cake).

Read moreFood was great, but customer service wasn't very pleasant. We waited 15 minutes for our waitress to take our order. The waitress was very moody and unpleasant. She kept snapping at us. I asked what she recommended and she looked at me like it was a stupid question. We then asked about religion and how it relates to veganism and she told us Buddhist are all the same. We were trying to figure out which Buddhism subcategory followed vegetarianism and veganism religiously. Other than the service the food was awesome! I loved the Spicy Eggplant Tofu dish. Their soup was also very delicious which came with the dinner special . Towards the end, I noticed that I haven't received my fried spring roll. I asked the busser if she could bring my spring roll. She was confused and kept trying to box up my food. Then the moody waitress came out and scolded me by telling that I only get one spring roll. I cannot have two. I thought there must be a misunderstanding. We finally realized that my spring roll was served on the same plate as my friend. I had no idea that was my spring roll and why would they serve it on the same plate when it was suppose to be with my dinner special! I was really angry by the end of the night. I didn't even want to leave them a tip, but they already included the tip with my bill! Bummer two stars knocked down for...
