What's the secret menu? Sure, I ordered the eggs with sausage, hash browns, sourdough toast, and coffee. I plan to order again! But what I want to order is hand printed on the board: dinner menu items Wed-Sunday! I want to try the prime rib! All the menu items (need to see the current board for specials) look tempting, and I've had their New York streak, yum, and I look forward to the prime rib! Note, Parking in front and back with back door access. Excellent service. Ok, the bathroom, is a bit smelly.

A week later...OMG! A hidden gem of gems! I thought breakfast rocked! This low-key diner kicks butt! Friendly, excellent service, food quality, food quantity! I ordered the cajun prime rib with potatoes and vegetables (16 oz slab of beef, "medium"). Potatoes melt in your mouth, and the veggies are cooked perfect, just beyond "al dente." Yum! They serve beer and wine, and the house cabernet works excellently! Note: call ahead to get the latest specials being served! Enjoy!

Food was not good at all! We ordered French toast, tuna melt, oatmeal and orange juice. Orange juice was literally Tropicana out of the bottle, I thought there was a lawsuit against Tropicana for having high quantity of artificial flavorings…. Hmmm! Oatmeal came with raisins but literally tasted like cardboard, we couldn’t save it even after adding syrup, such a waste. Tuna melt was cold… the bread was toasted perfectly but the tuna inside was cold cold, so didn’t enjoy that at all! French toast was also blah, I was surprised that someone can mess up French toast, but we couldn’t finish it! We did relay the message to the waitress of all the concerns just so the taste can be improved, maybe YOU may have a better experience than we did! I couldn’t take pics abc we were getting late for our flight...

I tried this place because it had gotten a couple of good reviews and was near my house. When I walked in, I was ignored by three staff members after saying "Hello" to them. I overheard the waitress complaining about another customer who had asked for a refund earlier... actually, overheard probably isn't the right word, since she was shouting from the kitchen to the bar area where the cook was watching the tv. I sat myself and scoped out the limited menu, only to notice that they don't accept credit cards or personal checks... CASH ONLY. What a joke. Do esta blishments like that even exist anymore? Talk about making it a point to limit their business. After 5 minutes with no acknowledgements from any of the staff and a curious stare from one of the local regulars, I walked out and said...
