Brother's Mexican is hands down one of the best Mexican restaurants not only in the North Park neighborhood but in all of San Diego.

The owner, one of the brothers, is always there making sure the quality and freshness of the food is always on it's highest level.

No matter what you order it's going to be cooked with care and plated with love.

I have never.... EVER had a bad experience with my visits to Brothers.

They have a large list of draft beers local domestic and craft.

Plenty of tv's on the wall to sit down, enjoy your food and watch the game or the fight.

I'm not huge on fried food but they have the BEST fish taco i have ever had! The batter is great. It's always crispy fried to perfection and the salsa they put on it is out of this world!

I highly recommend the carne asada conga burrito, their rice and beans, their shrimp ceviche, which is also on their happy hour menu.

Drink and food specials daily. This place is a big part of the neighborhood and I'm happy to have been part of it since day 1.

I usually always make a point to go on Friday or Saturday night. They set up outside with the street tacos and TJ dogs. My favorite!

Im a regular at Brothers Mexican and I can't recommend it enough. Go for yourself and see why this is even better than 5...

I have lived in North Park since well before Brothers took over from other extended family members several years ago (it was called Salsa Fiesta at that point.)

When Brothers first took over the food was amazing, although it was significantly different than when the prior owners had it (Salsa Fiesta.) The food continues to be great to this day.

The issue is with consistency. As employees come and go, and the owners are on site less, you sometimes don't get what you got last week. Although the food is always good it's not always the same.

I understand that since COVID the cost of doing business has escalated! And I'm willing to pay higher prices, if you maintain the quality of your food.

Google won't let me pick more than one type of meal, but in the last 2 weeks I have had: Breakfast Lunch Dinner Late Night (Friday...

My girlfriend and I stopped here on a whim, just looking for a burrito in the North Park area. Found them by a basic Google search of the area. We were there on a Monday afternoon, and it was pretty quiet - only one other pair of customers in the place.

We ordered a pair of burrito plates (on special every Monday!). Holy wow, the grilled chicken in the California burrito was some of the best I've ever had! Amazing! Really, really freakin' good.

Our server was super friendly and helpful, and was able to spend time talking to us given how slow it was when we were there.

Given the quality of what we tried, we will definitely make the trip back there again to try some other stuff on the menu. Not...

Brother’s is solid! Big fan of their California burrito, rolled tacos, and bean and cheese! Their food is always fresh, delicious and consistent. It’s also not dripping with grease (I know, not a genuine taco joint - but I prefer it). Plus anywhere with horchata on tap is a place I want to be. Parking can be rough, but if you’re in the area I suggest them over other North Park Mexican spots. I promise you’ll thank me later.

Great local spot to grab some well made Mexican food (and sushi if you’re in the mood)! Got the ceviche and it tasted great, and they give extra limes you need more acidity. The beer battered fish taco was really great and pretty fresh. My favorite part is how cold their beer is here, especially with the frosted mugs. Check it out!

THE REAL DEAL. Wish we would have had time to stay for a meal. We had some drinks and chips and salsa (salsa is homemade and delicious)! Every dish that came out looked amazing. We did have a Chamoy Michelada (with homemade chamoy sauce). It was fantastic. Will be going back for food soon. The bartender was so sweet and friendly.
