The hostses is very nice and friendly. The waitres was nice but need to put more attention to her job. I order a freshly brewed iced tea and the french toast slam no egg i substitute with hashbrown asked if they could be extra crispy the waitress said yes. My iced tea was a leamon ice tea i hate the sinthetic lemond flavor I ask my waitress if the fresh brew iced tea came with lemon she said "yes I added lemonaid." I told her I didn't ask for iced lemond tea I order iced tea said she thought I wanted and leamond ice tea and she took it away and brought me an iced tea. Then my breakfast arrived. The waitress give my my plate and the hashbrowns where golden brown on top but soggy the rest of them same as the hashbrowns on the other person i was with and there was a HAIR on the plate and the french toast had bits of blakend burn food on the edges meaning the cook doesn't scrape the grill so cross contamination .The waitress rushed away from our table and I had to wait to get her back to our table I showed her the hair I asked about the hashbrown she said thats how everybodys is made I asked why did you said they can make it crispy ahe told me oh thats right you asked for crispy hashbrown she told me she was going to take everything back and the cook would redo my order I told her no need to remake it just cancel I don't like returning food she insisted and I told her I don't trusthe food anymore. My dad was going to pour syrup over his pancakes and the bottle was all sticky and nasty he told her if there was a clean one she brought a clean one and inside his pancakes was a pice of some burned food that had most likely fallen in to the batter the sausagewhere pink inside and undercook the bacon soggy not crispy. For the looks of our food the kitchen is dirty the cook is bad at cooking and dirty and if you look at the walls where you are sitted those too are nasty so if the dinner room is dirty you can imagine the kitchen is worse. In the end the waitress brought the recipe told us that my canceld plate would be removed up front, the hostess that changed us wasn't even aware of the canceld plate she said she had to asked the waitress and we told her the waitress told us you would know so there is bad communication...
Read more° If you would like an all day American breakfast or dinner, this is the place. Not that service takes all day, but like another Denny's we've been to, the service does take a while which is in keeping with the mood of this locale. This is NOT FAST Food. Emphasis on "not fast" food. You want food served fast? Go to the drive through at McDonald's! ° Well, it was around six p.m., Saturday night. My companion and I were the only customers in the otherwise empty restaurant. It took eight minutes for us to get our water after we gave our order, and about 20 minutes for the food to arrive. We were in no rush. So all that was alright. It had been a long day. ° The food was served hot and tasty, just like we wanted it. We'll know to stay away though if the parking lot is busy. Tonight, we were just the two customers as we sat down. It was 45 minutes from walking in to cashing out--thisis tolerable. But you know that if there are more than a couple of customers, our stay might take an hour or longer, and I have other things to do with my time than spend more than an hour or two at Denny's. ° Service was friendly and accommodating. I could tell that all the employees were more comfortable speaking in Mexican than in English so I tried to speak some Spanish to meet them halfway. But I repeated my order twice too make sure it was right. And it came out right. My companion gave his chicken order once in English and pointed to the menu where his order was. Big mistake. His fingertip was adjacent to both the English description of his order, and to the picture above it. Naturally, the staff member who took his order saw the picture--it was for steak, and wrote that down. So, my friend got steak and not chicken. The picture of his chicken order was BESIDE the chicken item description. It doesn't matter that he said "chicken". The staff member understood the finger on the picture of the steak better than what he heard, "chicken and fries". The staff member offered to bring him his chicken order later after the steak arrived. Very nice of him. But my buddy turned him down and ate the steak. He told me that he was really hungry and didn't want to wait another twenty minutes!...
