It's A Taco Shop Mexican Food — Restaurant in San Diego

Bad customer service at the drive tru. I waited 15 minutes, maybe even more for someone to take my order but nobody did so I started driving up to the cashier. There was a car infront of me so I waited maybe another 10 minutes for them to clear the cashier window. Meanwhile someone was taking the order of the car behind me. When I got to the cashier window I told the guy no one took my order and told him what I wanted and he said I need to loop back so he can give the car behind me their order because it was ready! Who tells their customer that?? I told him I’ll wait, I was there first! And he just refused to take my order and wanted me to loop back and wait in line again despite being there at least 30 minutes already!! Horrendous customer service! He did not even apologize! Just kept telling me the next car’s order is ready and that he needed to give it to them. He could’ve taken my order and nicely asked me to wait at a curbside or parking like every drive tru would do. But oh no! He wants me to waste another 30 minutes waiting in line. I wanted to complain about him to the manager but he looked like he’s been working there his whole life. If he was a high-school kid then I can assume that his behavior was due to lack of experience in customer service. But this guy looked to be in his mid 50’s! The fact that this place employs people with terrible customer service tells me that they really don’t care about how their customers are treated. To anyone reading this, there are other Mexican restaurants out there with better food and better customer service and faster service too. So save yourself some time and disappointment and don’t go to this...

I never leave reviews but I’m losing sleep over this because we’re very disappointed at this place and it cost waaaay too much for the food. We came here on a whim bc its a drive through that has been here for about 30 years. we had along day with our toddlers and didn’t wanna get out of the car. I figured they must be doing something right if they’ve been around for so long. I wish I would have read the reviews first. I got the carne asada burrito and my sister got the Cali burrito. On the menu it states my burrito comes with rice and beans. I swear, it was just meat and tortilla and mostly tortilla. My sisters was DRY. No guac and mostly fries. RESTAURANT LOOKS AND SMELLS LIKE IT WAS KICKED OUT OF TIJUANA FOR BEING TOO UNSANITARY. Counter girl displayed the personality of a turnip. I had to yell in the back to get her (playing on her phone) and she was as happy as a death row inmate. Charged me a .50 fee for using my debit card without informing me and there was no sign indicating a fee anywhere. Sneaky(and illegal).There are no bathrooms either(also illegal). Then my princess refuses to give me a second tiny cup of water. I had to drink it first and then she would refill it. She said costs come out of her pocket.
