Jack in the Box — Restaurant in San Diego

If I could give this no stars I would. This is not a 24/7 drive through jack in the box. I believe it’s due to under staffing since I always see just one or two people at overnight hours therefore this location needs serious planning and/or direction during late night operations. Poor management is at fault since without a supervisor, employees are just going to take a break whenever they want ignoring the customer needs. There’s instances where an employee just blocks off the drive through entrance for no apparent reason then no sooner than 5 minutes later, I can see him doing nothing in the kitchen on his phone. If this is due to a 30 minute break then other staff members need to rotate duties to make sure it’s going on 24 hours. Otherwise what’s the point? This job is not hard and is not always going to be busy like how it is during day time hours, so it doesn’t make sense that drive through operations can’t stay open for at least half the night. Would be rather questionable if it happened occasionally but it isn’t a rare sight as you can see with other comments, so it feels deliberate. Would love to...

If I could, I would give this place 0 stars. Horrible customer service!!

My family and I frequently visit this particular location as it’s closest to our home, and we’ve never had much of a problem with them. However, the disrespect and humiliation experienced today was over the top.

When we arrived to the window to receive our food, the person at the window let go of the two bags before my dad could even grab onto them. The fries spilled all over his lap. She saw it happen, and did nothing. She didn’t even say anything to us. She just proceeded to take orders again at the window. She didn’t even care at all. After that, my dad didn’t want to say anything but he was fuming. After he left the drive thru, he tried calling the store three times and there was no response. Then, I tried to call and when they answered, they hung up right away. Furious, I called back. When they picked up, we kept saying “hello” and no response. They hung up again. This whole experience was humiliating and infuriating.

Everyone beware of this...

This place really sucks. All the food tastes like it's a weak old.

I got the 3 piece French toast platter with bacon which comes with french toast sticks, eggs, bacon, and a hash brown. I got 1 whole French toast stick, 1 where the entire middle was hollowed out (so pretty much half a stick) and 1 that was really small (about 1/4 of a stick) so in total I got the equivalent of 1 3/4 french toast sticks.

The bacon was extraordinarily dry, it felt like chewing on leather and the eggs both looked and tasted extremely weird (hoping I'm not gonna be sick tomorrow after eating some of them)

the only piece of the meal that was even remotely ok was the hash brown. I've gotten croissant sandwichs from here too and they taste like they've been left out for days, really stale and underwhelming

Honestly if you're craving jack in the box I'd go to a different location because I've been to other locations and they are significantly better...
