Jersey Mike's Subs — Restaurant in San Diego

I have given this specific location 3 different chances to correct their continued mistakes. I buy a giant Italian every time I come in. Half for dinner and half for lunch the next day. The last 3 times I have had the same issue. I order the sandwich Mike's way with oil and vinegar in the side (due to mainly taking the other half to work the next morning). All 3 times I reiterate (when ordering the sandwich and when asked about my preference of Mike's way) oil and vinegar on the side. ALL 3 times they proceeded to soak my sandwich down with oil and vinegar. I caught this happening the last 2 times. The first time I said I asked for it on the side. I get a disgusted blank look and am asked if I really need it to be remade. After requesting it to be remade, I get a audible huff and watch as my new sandwich is handled and created violently. The second and last time I watched as the oil and vinegar are thrown onto my sandwich, I reminded him that I requested none on it only on the side. He proceeded to give me a dirty look and pull the tomatoes off violently and replace them and asked "is that was good enough". As we all know the tomatoe slices aren't bowls and do not hold all the above mentioned juices. I'm done. I love Mike's but this location is a constant...

The sandwich was good, but the end of the sandwich roll was a little stale.

Here's the BIG ISSUE...!!!!

Restrooms were physically and intentionally blocked with dining room chairs. My wife and I were there for almost 45 minutes from beginning to end and watched multiple customers including a family of 4 with children and 2 EMT first responders denied restroom access. It was blatantly obviously that the restrooms were intentionally closed not for cleaning or maintenance because the justification for why the restrooms were closed kept changing. "Axael" the the store employee specifically told one group the restrooms would be closed for hours.

I personally just wanted to wash my hands before eating a sandwich.

I understand this location my have an issue with homeless people undesirable using their facilities but that does not justify restricting restroom access to your customers.

This store is not kid friendly and does not take personal hygiene seriously.

SHAME, SHAME, SHAME ON JERSY MIKES MISSION GORGE.

I plan on pursuing this further with legal action...

Styrofoam water cups?!?

I like Jersey Mike's sandwiches; always fresh, quick and friendly services, good quality and supportive of other causes such as Radys Children Hospital. 👍

But dang Jersey Mike's why do you have to use the worst type of material for water cups? Styrofoam doesn't decompose, and beyond sitting in landfills for decades if it ends up in the oceans or water streams then it's really bad news bears.

Until they switch to more environmentally friendly products I will no longer be a customer. Please invest the couple extra cents for biodegradable/recycled materials and help us help you make this world a better place...
