Absolutely love, love, LOVE this gem of a restaurant in Ocean Beach! Atmosphere is lively, with a lot of locals who eat there a frequently. I have eaten many different meals there & they are all excellent, but my go to all time favorite is and is my absolute favorite to order is the #5 crunchy beef taco, cheese enchiladas, very tasty refried beans with the most delicious sauce lunch special which is made to perfection!!!! Excellent and Yummy!! My husband usually orders the eggs & tamale plate which is excellent as well. The employees are very friendly & know many guests by name & make all guests feel like they are part of the family as they are. They cater to all with extreme professionalism & have been with the restaurant for a very long time. On weekends it is a good idea to arrive early as it is usually very crowded & usually a wait....

New favorite local breakfast spot in OB! Food is crazy good for the price. I got the #3 and it did not disappoint. The biscuits and gravy were out of this world! My fiancé and I both got a decent size breakfast platter, coffee & tea, and walked out of there only spending around $35. They have some pretty solid $10 breakfast combo deals too. The best part about this place though is the vibe. It’s pretty unassuming from the outside but the moment we walked in we were greeted with smiles and the feeling like we were being welcomed into someone’s home with all our neighbors. I was looking for traditional Mexican soup and this place delivered!! I got the menudo, and it came with warm tortillas and a plate with chopped onions, cilantro, and crushed red pepper. For a first-timer not knowing what to expect- it was Fire!!! Flavorful and full of corn, pork, and other yummies; this delicious dish did not disappoint! Perfect for the chilly, foggy afternoon topped off great wait staff and the homey feel of their spot. I recommend stopping in when you're in the Ocean Beach area!
