This place is TERRIBLE. I do not recommend this place if you are a family with children. This is a public service warning. Upon first arriving with my family, it was very strange having to wait in two different lines to order food and alcohol. There is no table service, so you have to bring all your items to your table, which is fine. I ordered a juice for my 5-year-old and when I went to the self-service machine the only juice was lemonade and it was not working. The cashier refused to refund me and told me to get "tea or orange soda". When I question their response, the bartender offered me orange juice from behind the bar. The bathrooms are very dirty, no toilet seat covers and cobb webs all over the ceiling and stalls. There is no service for clearing used plates and dishes from the table. There is, also, no trash cans outside to do this yourself. The video games inside, half of them don't work and just take your money. You can only image how a child will respond to this. Outside the furniture is un kept spider webs everywhere and the tables are not wiped down between guests. Toward the end of my dining experience some one finally came to our table but was insistent they could only clear glass and not take to two plastic children's glasses. When it was time to leave, I was walking through the restaurant with a glass and a staff came up to me and started raising his voice telling me I could not leave the restaurant with a beer and attempted to grab my glass from me even though i was nowhere near the front door. I told him I had no intention of doing this. A few minutes later now closer to the door, but still inside the restaurant the same staff came up to me yelled in my face while holding my 5-month-old baby "I knew you were leaving with the beer". I told him he had no idea what I was thinking”. I was waiting by the door while my husband was buying merchandise. Then another staff member yelled from across the restaurant that I was a terrible parent. I was in shock that these two male staff were being so aggressive with me. As we finally left, me and my husband decided to return the merchandise my husband just bought. They refused to give him a receipt that it was return and here we are 3 days later there is still a $50 charge on my account. This place has terrible service, and the male staff here definitely have some power and...
Read moreSad, how time has caused THIS branch to loose it's glamour of fame for a " Pizza Port " store, where Many years ago, when they first opened, World class Double IPA's !! Great !! Service and Pizza exactly how you ordered it, NOT anymore.
I came into the store Jan.2, 2022 there was almost NOBODY in the restaurant, ONLY 6 or 7 staff members behind the counter, I first attempted to order my pizza , and the young lady told me ,I could order it from my the beer team ( as I had told her I wasn't sure which I should order first, ) the gentleman who helped me with tasters , while at first was Very anxious to please , soon became Abit testy over hearing my conversation with my friend , then once we got handed our beers, he short poured my friends pint by over an inch of foam, I said to him, Hey you ARE going to top that off aren't you, and his first remark was how difficult of a customer I Was, said " OH, So you're one of Those guys huh" " hard to please" he said, " we're told two fingers from the top " I about flipped my wig, what kind of B S. customer service and response is THIS, he DID finally top it off,
BTW, the quality of the current local brewed IPA , Sucked really, ALMOST No carbonation either,
So then I asked about ordering a Pizza, He directed me Back to the other employee, who STILL had No other customers, who told me to order from Him.
I asked for a Double Pepperoni with half Onions
I believe my picture tells ty he rest of That story
Never going to Pizza Port in O.B for a Double Pepperoni pizza again EITHER, NOR Beer
NOTE !!!!!
the Very last photo is a Major competitors ( Out of " good taste " , { pardon the pun } Leaving Out the name of the competitor ) version of an Extra pepperoni pizza for even Much...
Read moreProbably one of the worst customer services I have received anywhere. I love to support local businesses any way I can especially during these trying times. My friends and I went for lunch on 6-4-22. I gifted my friend a beer from a different local brewery and he opened it in the restaurant. I know that it was probably not the best idea that he opened it in the restaurant but I didn’t say anything. Shortly after we were met by a worker named “Tyler” that proceeded to ask my friend where he got the beer. He told him that he couldn’t have it in the restaurant and to our dismay just grabbed it out of his hand without giving us any warning or time to dispose of it. We were also told to go outside to the patio with our dog when we were already seated inside. Mind you, there were people inside with dogs. I felt like he was very mean, disrespectful and talked to us in a very condescending way. I work for the public so I know a little bit of customer service and his attitude was NOT ok. My entire group of friends and I were really appalled and couldn’t believe what just happened. We should’ve left right then and there but we ordered mediocre pizza and beer. Before I left, I brought up the incident to the front staff before I left because it was definitely uncalled for. They let me know that Tyler was sent home after that incident. The front staff was really nice and understanding and also let me know that Tyler does not know how to communicate with customers. Obviously I could see this. I will not return but thank you to the young lady and gentleman in the front for being so kind understanding when I...
