Panda Express — Restaurant in San Diego

I've loved Panda Express for a long time. I have a lot of food sensitivities and for whatever reason, never have a problem with Pandas food, until tonight. This was the first time the chow mein was old, dry and nasty, and the teriyaki chicken genuinely smelled bad.

I had a few bites and regretted it. My stomach is regretting it too. The employees were all gabbing to each other and straight up rude, starting to check me out and then talking over me to their friend. Curt, didn't scan my app. I get that I came later at night and it was slow, but they were open for another hour. The food shouldn't be bad if they're doing their jobs. I've been to other Pandas and they'll monitor and tell you x entree isn't being served anymore because it's been sitting too long. They'll throw it out and offer you the fresher dish. These people obviously didn't care at all and sold me some really nasty stuff. :(

I went into this location and wanted to order a Family Feast - the employee stated "you can't order here" I said why can't I? She stated you have to order online. I asked when did that start? She stated - oh we are running a special on that which is half price, but you have to order online. She then said if you want to order it now, you will have to pay full price which is about $20.00 more. I said so if I go outside and go to the app and order I can get it then. She said yes. So I went outside and navigated the app on my phone in the rain to find the special. No where on the app could I find the special, in fact the price on the app was higher than the normal price in the store. I became so frustrated I just left and went somewhere else. I am a healthcare worker that hasn't had a day off in 3 weeks, and I just wanted to bring food home to my family. Worst customer service I...

I enjoy the food very much. Its not P.F. Chang, but I wasn't looking to spend $100. I enjoy everything on the menu, and usually order a large side of rice for the next day. I hate the fact that they discontinued their fried shrimp, there is no reason they could give me that I would accept. The beef side is a dollar extra but worth it. And the orange chicken is as good as you will get anywhere. Their sides are really good, spring roles are my favorite. They also have a great variety of drinks and boxes of fortune cookies. The services is fast and accurate, and friendly. The quality of the meat and vegetables is very high, and the vegetables are crisp and moist. I have no complaints, I'm usually happy with my meal even when I order something wishing I had ordered something else. It's all part of a good healthy meal.
