The menu here is expansive. Milk teas, fruit teas, coffee, slushes, small bites. There's a little bit of everything for everyone. Prices are fair and service is very fast. It's nice that you can order your drinks and customize the sugar level. I got the Earl Gray Milk Tea with half sweetness, it was disappointing to say the least. The tea flavor was just not there, it tasted watered down and sad. The boba in the other hand was pretty good! Just the right texture and brimming with flavor to make up for the bland tea.

They have a happy hour milk tea special that we took advantage of. They also had a special on their crispy chicken for $3. The milk teas were a little on the sweet side but the boba was good. The crispy chicken was ordered with a medium spicy level and it was delicious! Whatever flavoring that they sprinkled on the fried chicken was so good!

Great place for lunch! They have lunch specials for less than $10 and comes with a drink. The food is yummy and their boba drinks are my fave. Make sure you get the right straw size, the last couple of times I’ve gone I was given a small straw so I couldn’t drink my boba.

I have tried their drinks fom when my sibling got us some, the kiwi snowbubble is extremely refreshing with lychee boba perfect summer refresher, oolong tea not so much,

NEVER ORDER DELIVERY I spent around 25 mins on the website trying order drinks as a surprise for family at work. I spend $17 on each single drink for deliver drink itself around $7.50 and then $4 for fees and automatic tip not worth it, on the site the menu is styled in a almost a sports tournament matching bracket and only lists the calories and drink names. Absolutely no description whatsoever other than its name. You only have option to choose boba or lychee, and for some milk nothing about sweetness level and special instructions their fishballs and chicken are not that bad the flavor is similar to daves hot chicken where there is a lot of hot spice and crispiness on the outside but not actual flavor on the chicken meat, the fish balls initically taste spicy then you get hit by squid taste followed by a really nice black pepper taste and back to squid again, its not that bad but I would avoid it if you don't like the...

This place is legit, and direly needed in this type of student-run La Jolla community. Walk in any given evening and you will see fellow UCSD students studying, playing cards, or just blowing off steam.

Points to note: Weekdays before 6 is their 'happy hour,' which involves $2 snack-size fried chicken AND $2 thai milk tea with boba! Strongly recommend.

I also believe that if you come in after 9 or 10pm, its buy 1 - get 1 50% off on all their teas! Perfect for a chill date night... which I will keep in mind if ever given such an opportunity haha.

This place was my go-to spot for GRE and SAT tutoring. I usually go for the fried chicken wings snack and/or the taro snow bubble, which is blended with ice cream for added...

If you've been to another TapEx location before you will know what to expect. Typical small store with a few tables. They have all the normal flavors you can usually get at TapEx.

I got my regular Passion Fruit Black Tea w/ Boba and half sugar. M got Litchi Black Tea w/ Boba and half sugar. Flavored teas were as expected, half sugar was the right choice. Slight artificial aftertaste but not enough to put me off. Boba was not as fresh-tasting as it could be but not as stale as I've had at other places. Drinks were $3.45 each.

All in all an average experience as far as PMT goes. I would go back. It's a convenient location for UCSD students living at Mesa/One Miramar (about 1 mile south...
