I finally got the chance to check out the new local donut shop, The Best Donut, and I can confidently say it lives up to its name! From the moment you walk in, the smell of freshly baked dough is incredible, but the real magic is in the taste and texture.
The first thing I noticed was the donut itself. It was exceptionally soft and fluffy, with a light, airy quality that almost melts in your mouth. It has that perfect, satisfying chewiness without being heavy or greasy at all. You can tell they use high-quality ingredients and have perfected their recipe.
But the fillings are where The Best Donut truly shines. I was impressed by the wide variety, from classic creams to more inventive fruit compotes. The best part? They are not overly sweet. You can actually taste the flavor of the filling, whether it's the tartness of fruit or the richness of the fresh cream, without being overwhelmed by sugar. Itâs a refreshing change from the usual super-sweet treats.
If you're looking for a donut that is perfectly balanced, incredibly fresh, and just plain delicious, you have to give The Best Donut a try. It's a fantastic addition to the neighborhood, and I'm already planning...

Read moreI have been eating here since they first opened & boy let me tell you they WERE the best donuts. Now idk what happened but quality has gone down significantly. I thought maybe it was just a one day thing nope this has been going on for more than a couple of weeks nows. They are no longer the same as they were when they first opened. The donuts were all the same shape, beautiful designs. Now they are flat, lop sided, undercooked, misshapen, they are no longer fluffy like they used to be. They look very sloppy & disappointing. I noticed they have a new guy making them now. I've spoken with the previous baker & he had a glimmer in his eye when he would speak to me about the donuts explaining to me the entire process when I had asked questions. This new guy seems to have no clue nor does he seem to care, he was very rude as well. When asked why the change in quality & the donuts such as the Pistacho & the minis why isnt there anymore more premiums. he insisted that I was wrong & that it has always been the same. Which is most...
