Was disappointed by the food here. Ordered a chorizo breakfast burrito, fish taco, and churro.
(3/5) The breakfast burrito was oozing with refried beans - too much in my opinion if it's spilling out of the burrito. There was a good portion of eggs; however was overpowered by the refried beans. The chorizo was really disappointing; there wasn't much in the burrito and also did not have much flavor (again in part, due to the sheer amount of refried beans).
(2/5) The fish taco was also a disappointment. It was clearly a fish stick; and was lukewarm at best. It was also topped with coleslaw and pico de gallo. The pico was a weird choice that honestly does not pair with a fish taco.
(4/5) Lastly, and the only saving grace, was the churro. Not much to mention as it's fairly hard to mess up a churro.

Read moreALL the food I ordered was so bland and tasteless. I had cheese Quesadilla, chicken taco, beans, rice and corn on the cob. The taco shell was like an Ortega shell out of the box. I was expecting a real taco. The chicken in the taco was weird. I ate it I was starving. after taking so long to pick a place to eat this was beyond disappointing. I am not an authentic Mexican food chef, but I could do better than this. The corn was room temp and not appetizing looking. Had no char or paprika just mayo slathered on it. I was hungry so I asked for mild salsa so I could add some type of flavor. They only had hot which I dont like. I didnt eat it at all except the taco. I tried to eat it anyway in order to not waste it but it so bad, it wasn’t worth the calories or $50. It really pissed me off. I was hungry...
Read moreIf you’re looking for some authentic Mexican (as Americans know it). This is the place. Small with only outdoor seating. It is inside, not facing the water. You order at a window and pick up at a second window. It’s located inside Seaport Village kind of on the North end. I have been at least three times in the last five years and they consistently have great food and service. The folks at the window are always friendly and knowledgeable. They have some bowls of stuff and burritos but I’m always drawn to the al pastor tacos served with cilantro and chopped white onions. These are some good solid street style tacos. Don’t forget the salsa kind of looks like thousand island but has a nice kick.
