Urban Kitchen — Restaurant in San Diego

Would love to give a positive review, but it's been 30 min and still no food out. I ordered on their mobile setup and they were happy to take money ($10 fries... omg). Wish I could cancel as I'm now missing my event. The place is too small for an event space. Would be like cooking for 500 people in my home kitchen. Prices are atrocious and service is slow. The only good to come from the wait time is how much I can add to this review. I just heard the staff say they were out of water, so guess ill be waiting longer. At least it's not just me. 44 mins between placing the order on the kiosk and getting the second text that my food order was ready. Ridiculous. I tried to cancel the order because the show started at 7:30 but I was told I couldn’t cancel and that I wouldn’t get a refund right away. The kitchen was completely chaotic and unorganized. Was the food good? Yes. Was it worth the wait and price? No. If you’ve seen the movie The Princess Bride, we made it back to our seats right before the sword scene with Wesley and Inigo. 🤢 Disgusting! What I got wasn't even food. I ordered a hamburger with everything and got half of an upside down bun with a piece of raw (still cold like a refrigerator on the inside) meat. This wasn't a mistake, this was intentional and gross. They were so slow I didn't get the food until just before the show started and they were closed by the time it was over so no refund.
