We chose SoDiego tours for our office outing locally here in San Diego. We wanted a creative experience to celebrate our coworker’s birthday. The Vino Vino Little Italy tour was an excellent choice that did not disappoint. Nicole Cooley and Bianca Beale were quick to respond when reaching out to inquire about setting up the tour. Both Nicole and Bianca are wonderful to work with. Nicole went out of her way to ensure our office outing was coordinated accordingly. All questions our group had prior to the event were answered promptly and efficiently. Nicole followed up with us after the tour to check-in with how our experience was as well. Raul was our guide for the tour. Our team met up with him at our first stop without any issues, and he assisted us throughout the entire tour. We were especially grateful for his esteemed knowledge. He was generous and professional all throughout the tour. The tour consisted of three restaurants. First stop, Vino Carta: Had a wonderful variety of wines, each wine we tasted was delicious and was a great start to the tour. The gentleman explaining the wine was informative and our learnings added an extra touch to our experience. Second stop, Pali Wine co: Regardless of arriving early, we were seated and served almost immediately. We loved the rooftop setting. We were given a selection of a few different wines and a cheeseboard, all of which were explained. The wines were smooth and refreshing. The cheese plate was the perfect appetizer. Third stop, Solunto (italian restaurant): By this time our group was indulged entirely into the experience, having a blast. The prior stops set the bar high. Soltuno didn’t impress us as much, but that’s not to say we didn’t have a great time. We were served wine + pasta, we weren’t given that extra touch that Vino Carta and Pali Wine added with the explanations. With that said, our group was many tastings in and I’m sure our attention was minimum because of all the fun we were having. Overall, this is a unique opportunity to explore our beautiful San Diego, even if you are a local. The tour was absolutely fabulous. Thank you SoDiego for a wonderful experience.

My sister and I had a really great time on the “Brothels, Bites and Booze” tour in the Gaslamp quarter. The company gave very specific coordinates on the pick up and drop off locations. You meet at the Gaslamp Quarter sign near the hard rock hotel and you end at Cal Cream Ice Cream. Parking in the gaslamp quarter can be sparse so I’d advise arrive a half hour earlier than the tour to find parking. Our tour guide Magda was the best part. She was very kind and knew her history. She even gave us tips on other things to do while we were in tour. The route was super easy and on a Monday the streets weren’t crowded at all. We went to 3 sit down restaurants and did some sight seeing in between. We went to: -Meze and had the Greek quesadilla (this was my favorite food of the night) and the Greek Sangria. The restaurant gave us a coupon for 10% off our next visit and a free entry coupon to a speakeasy (Prohibition Lounge) in town right next door to The Field Irish Pub -Smoky J’s bbq (locals say they’re the best bbq in San Diego) for the pulled pork slider and American Lager -The Field Irish Pub for their shepherds pie and Irish mule (my favorite drink of the night) -Cali Cream, I had the cookies and crème scoop After all this, my sister and I went to the speakeasy that Magda and The Meze recommended and had the best time. I will be booking another tour with this company. I got my ticket through the Viator app for $88 per person two weeks in advance. Our group was 12 people at 5:30pm. You must try the “Brothels, Bites and Booze” tour or any of their other tours because it is WELL WORTH THE MONEY. Thanks again Magda!

We used So Diego Tours for a corporate team dinner and had a wonderful time on our “Tequila, Tacos and Tombstones” tour in Old Town San Diego. Bianca and Kirk were our guides for the evening. We enjoyed hearing about the history of San Diego and Old Town. We loved the progressive meal concept, stopping at a number of local eateries for local cuisine. Our tour was able to get into the eateries right away and the restaurant staff was able to accommodate food requests for people with special dietary needs. The food choices were delicious - So Diego Tours did a great job of partnering with some of the great, local restaurants. We had a lot of delightful food to eat! Bianca and Kirk have such a passion for their jobs. We had such a diverse group, from all over the world. This is the perfect inclusive tour for people from diverse backgrounds. I highly recommend So Diego Tours. If we are back in town for a corporate event, I’d love to set up another team event with them!

It was so refreshing to get to go on a tour with someone who is a real insider and knows the history of this part of San Diego. Kristen was so caring and professional the whole time, going way above and beyond anything even remotely required to make sure everyone had an absolutely fantastic time. She was one of the most authentic, down-to-earth, and real individuals I've ever met in my life. The entire experience was so unique and individualized for our group, with so many wonderful and fascinating stories being told by Kristen while we rode along. Even for someone born and raised in SoCal like myself, it is quite an experience! All the historical details that Kristen had about the area were mind-boggling as well, so much to take in and absorb. Regardless if you're from another country or born and raised right down the freeway like I am, you do NOT want to miss out on this adventure, trust me on this, it is well worth the time and money for any and everybody. I can't wait to tell all my friends and family about her tour and go on the other fun things she has available too. She was kind enough to have snacks and refreshments and seemed to be friends with just about every person we came across in Old Town San Diego. In trying to think of areas for improvement, or some kind of 'constructive criticisms' as they call it, I just feel there simply aren't any at all... She just brings a level of excellence and sincerity to what she does and bends over backwards in every way to make the whole tour so much fun, just so memorable, and just so worthwhile... It's exceptional. Book this tour now, as in 'today', and see what everyone else is enjoying so much in...

We recently had the pleasure of taking a tour of Little Italy with an exceptional guide, Aparna. From the moment the tour began, it was clear that we were in for a memorable experience. Our guide was incredibly accommodating, ensuring that everyone in the group felt comfortable and engaged throughout the tour.

Her knowledge of Little Italy was impressive. She shared fascinating historical facts, cultural insights, and little-known anecdotes that truly brought the neighborhood to life. It was evident that she had a deep passion for the area and a wealth of information to share.

What made the tour even more enjoyable was her kind and personable nature. She took the time to get to know each member of the group, making everyone feel included and valued. Her lively and entertaining storytelling kept us all captivated, and her sense of humor added a delightful touch to the experience. We found ourselves laughing and smiling throughout the tour.

In addition to being knowledgeable and entertaining, our guide was also very funny. She had a knack for weaving humor into her narratives, which made the tour not only informative but also a lot of fun. Her lively personality and enthusiasm were infectious, and it was clear that she genuinely enjoyed what she was doing.

Overall, our tour of Little Italy was a fantastic experience, thanks in large part to our wonderful guide. The food was very delightful as well – especially the focaccia. Aparna was accommodating, knowledgeable, kind, entertaining, funny, personable, and lively. We couldn't have asked for a better guide to show us around this vibrant neighborhood. Highly...
