It's the Hilton & when we went, Le Petit chef wasn't opened yet; only certain days of the week it's open. It was initially friendly for me, but due to there being no show, i had a drink at the Hilton's restaurant with food and saw a book about different parts of the world. Since it included many parts i travelled too, i got excited and read it while my son played on my phone. All was good until due to my son's fractured left hand, we went to sit on couches and I took the book with me. Being at the hospital the previous night, accidentally I fell asleep while i read and the security guard came so i had some chocolate to stay up and would have liked the security guard to treat me better and even offered a room at the hotel as was protocol instead of saying that the book was only for decoration and I shouldn't be reading it and the like... đ§đ So currently it's a 3 star but once we visit Le Petite Chef successfully, I'll rerate it more appropriately and maybe this time for me and others the staff, security and those that whispered to him, can be...
Read moreI think part of this was my fault not thinking it would be mostly filled with children. We were sat at a table with the worst behaved child out of all of the kids by far. This is what ruined the experience really. They had tables for two but Iâm not sure how they decided which reservations got those. The food was alright but for the price is was terrible. I had the grand chef meal. The salad was good, the lobster bisque soup was the identical shellfish soup with maybe 1/4 of an ounce of lobster, the actual lovster dish was probably 2oz of lobster, and the worst part was the âfilet mignonâ, it was not a filet mignon it was absolutely a short rib cut and was overcooked.
Oh and the main course for the vegetarian meal was a small fried potato and a plate full of grilled onions.
You are paying nearly $500 for two people for a meal anywhere else that...
Read moreI will say this experience was fun for my kids⊠but I can think of MANY better ways to spend $750 on a fun dinner that actually tastes good. The concept is cool and fairly well executed although the gaps in animations between courses left everyone wanting more action. The only real issue for me was the hotel bar quality food at insane prices. The bread was soggy, the gnocchi was so over salted it was almost inedible, the vegetarian main course was literally a pile of soggy celery, the creme brĂ»lĂ©e was overdone. We didnât come with massive expectations for the food⊠but still left very disappointed. From an experience POV, I would put this at like a rainforest cafe type novelty experience⊠certainly not worth what they are charging and certainly nowhere near...
