I had one of the worst experiences I have ever had at a venue in my entire life. As an avid live music fan, I went to a concert last night with two of my friends. The concert was great, but the staff that were working were some of the rudest people I have ever met in my life.

When approaching the entrance, I had noticed that there were people being turned away due to bags that were too large. I had already read instructions on how large my purse should have been before coming to the event online. After measuring my purse at home I was still unfortunately not allowed to bring in my small purse after some rude remarks from a male worker at the ticket entrance. He held a plastic square up to my purse…. my purse was about half an inch “too long”.

A woman in front of me had caused a bit of a fuss about not being allowed in with her purse, and this same man then told her she was not allowed to come into the venue AT ALL due to her “attitude”.

I do not believe that any concert venue worker no matter where it is should be judging people coming into the venue based on their frustrated “attitude”. That was really odd to me.

I then overheard the same man ask one of his coworkers if they were “throwing away the bags left outside by the entrance”. I had then realized my friend and I should hide our purses elsewhere in hopes that after the concert they would still be there.

Unfortunately, they were not. They were, of course, either stolen or thrown in the trash by these completely unprofessional and rude workers.

Petco Park should utilize lockers outside if there is such an issue regarding bags. I found this extremely odd that the workers wanted to throw people’s belongings in the trash. I have never been so disappointed in employees at an event in my life.

Upon entering the concert, there was a beer cart. My friend was told she could buy two beverages per person. After paying for 2 drinks, my friend then asked if she could get 1 more (because of our 3rd friend standing RIGHT next to her). The worker then told her two drinks per person once more, which we understood the first time…. odd. The man then tried to charge my two friends for FIVE drinks AFTER she had already paid for TWO. She had only wanted one more and explained this to the beer cart worker. The cart worker then DID NOT BELIEVE THAT SHE HAD PAID FOR TWO DRINKS ALREADY, yet she had just paid directly in front of him…. also ODD!!! It took about 5-10 minutes of standing in line to pull up a bank charge, show numbers on her card, and prove that she had just bought the first two drinks causing others in line to have to wait. Very very odd and once again, the worker was rude throughout this entire interaction.

I will NOT be returning back to Petco any time soon, not because of the events, but because of how poorly my friends and I were treated by employees and how our belongings were supposedly “thrown out”.

Please, Petco Park, work on kindness with your employees or maybe don’t hire such angry individuals.

Only go here if you are willing to be yelled at, treated poorly, charged extra for no reason, or turned away at the door for...

if you have never been to this baseball stadium in san-Diego calforina called petco park I highly recommend that you check it out because it's one of my favorite baseball stadiums to visit in the san-Diego calforina area. one thing that i have to say about the service there is that they are very welcoming to all of the Guests and willing to answer any questions that you may have on how to purchase tickets or any questions that you may have if you have never been there before. one thing that i have to say about the atmosphere of this baseball stadium is that it's very inviting and welcoming when you frist wallk into the stadium and overall it's just a wonderfull place to enjoy a great san-Diego padares baseball game. let mell tell you about my experience from the last time that I was there it was amazing and i will defiantly be returning to this baseball stadium in the future or the next time that im in the san-Diego calforina area. one thing that i have to say about how easy it is to get through the security lines at this stadium is that it's very fast and it usally doesent take very long at all to get through the security lines depending on how busy they are and how fast they can get everyone through there. one thing that i have to say about the parking options is that they have Different parking options such as there is a trolly service that runs from the train station in downtown san-Diegos old town that will take you to and from the old town train station to petco park and also they offer a parking garage that offers parking and it is just a few blocks from the stadium. some of the diffrent food options that this baseball stadium offers are hot dogs hamburgers and noachos what ever food options that you are looking for during your visit to petco park this baseball stadium has got you covered with different food options. one thing that i have to say about the cleanliness of this place is that it's very clean and organized and overall not a lot of trash or garabage anywhere around the baseball stadium they keep this baseball stadium very clean and organized. the reason reason why im giving this place five stars is because this place by far has exceeded my expections for one of my favorite baseball stadiums to visit in the sandiego...

My brother and I came to town from Vancouver Canada 🇨🇦🍁 for a few Padres games on June 24th, 25th and 26th vs Washington. And all we can say was WOW what a beautiful Ballpark.

The entire staff from inside and out were all amazing and so kind and incredibly helpful. From the escalator attendant letting us know to go to the fan information counter and mention to them that it's our first time to Petco Park. So we did and they gave us a couple first time to Petco Park buttons and took some pictures of us as well.

The stadium is laid out very well and is very easy to get around. Lots to see and do ( especially for your first time ) we checked out the prices on food and beer and so on. It's a little pricey but from what we saw with the food we saw it looked very decent and great quality. Meant to try a Hot Dog but too full from eating before the games at all the great local Restaurants ( next time ) the BBQ place looked great and they have a great section just for all the Local Craft Breweries in town. Brewery Row I do believe it was called.

The entire experience was wonderful from being inside the Stadium or walking around the Gallaghers Square area and looking around. We felt welcomed wherever we were all around the Stadium.

There was so much to see and do, and we didn't even get the chance to see it all. ( Next time )

All three games were amazing and our seats were spectacular The first game sec 109 row 13 on the Aisle second game sec 107 row 11 on the Aisle and the day game Wednesday sec 110 row 11 on the Aisle. All seats were outstanding.

I actually won a game worn jersey of Matt Carpenters which was awesome and authenticated as well.

The only thing I would suggest they do is in the washrooms have the play by play louder. It was kind of hard to hear unfortunately.

But all in all Petco Park was amazing and beautiful. You wouldn't even know it was 20 years old.

And now I know why it's been ranked #1 for years because it's truly amazing and easy to get around and very fan friendly also. Everyone really goes out of their way to make you feel welcomed, and to really enjoyed your entire experience at the Ballpark...

Cheers and well done to everyone involved with Petco Park from staff to the entire City...
