This is my second time going to Valerie's Taco Shop in Pacific Beach, and this time was just as good as the first time! Valerie's is located off of Ingraham St. in Pacific Beach and it is open 24 hrs. After a long day at the beach, my friend and I went to Valerie's. I got the California Burrito ($10.60), and my friend got the Carne Asada Fries ($10.55). The food isn't made until you actually order it; it's hot, delicious, and well worth the money. The hardest part of going to Valerie's, is deciding what to eat. The menu is long. Valerie's gets 5 stars from me because it's convenient, affordable, and absolutely delicious.

By far the worst taco shop I’ve had the displeasure of experiencing. I ordered carne asada fries with extra cheese and received barely any cheese at all which is crazy considering that they charged me $4 for it. I ordered the TJ style hotdog and received a wet hotdog with lettuce and tomatoes on it. I ordered a conga burrito with extra cheese and go NO cheese at all! The fact that this place has as high of a rating as it does is astounding to me. If you like spending money on things you’ll never get and want to leave dissatisfied, please come here. Otherwise, save your time and money and go to a legit taco shop.

I should have known this place wasn't going to be good by just looking at it .. This is what i consider a C grade taco shop. Prices were fair for the area especially claiming angus beef (wich is questionable) my portion was small and it was an instant regret. The fries had an off taste due to the oil Salsa is good here ill give them that, cleanliness not so much i found 2 different hairs in my food!! This is ok if ur stranded late night and can crawl there otherwise theres much better options near by

We were pleasantly surprised by our quick, late night trip to this convenient spot. Food came out quickly and the gentleman at the window was kind, courteous and answered some questions without being put out!

To make things even better, the food was beyond our expectations! My daughter was battling some nausea so she stuck with a plain quesadilla but we ordered sides of guacamole, pico, and sour cream. I personally love pico by the heaps in my tacos/burritos (anything really!)Theirs was heavy on the onions, which I fully enjoy, but also appreciate some balance with equal parts tomato. Could’ve used a bit more cilantro as well but that’s just not picking. It was super tasty and made my surf and turf burrito complete! I probably could’ve inhaled the whole burrito but having a second meal later on sounded like a better idea 😋

Definitely a solid place for some quick Mexican and genuine/friendly service. Would’ve loved to try more from the menu. There will be a next time!! Go...

I had the joy to have the shrimp burrito and chicken rolled tacos they where absolutely Muy delicioso! It may not have a fancy dining room or even much room to order but what that lacks the food makes you forget all the other stuff! The food is the best I've ever had hands down I was in complete amazement on jusy how much shrimp is in there holy guacamole 😮 it's every bite your getting a few shrimp. If your looking for a amazing place this is it I can't believe there's not more of a line but there where a constant flow of customers coming in while I enjoyed my food at the outdoor seating. Keep up the great work and amazing food I hope you have many more successful...
