Wendy's — Restaurant in San Diego

I go to this Wendy's at least three times a week I went there one so about two weeks ago and I had the 4 for $4 meal I upgraded to a large and got a root beer soda the soda taste like there was something in it like oil or something funny and to my my mistake and not telling them going back and telling them I just poured the soda out and then drink it and I've been back to that restaurant at 4 or 5 times but I never got the soda until I got another fountain drink today thinking maybe it was just a fluke I would always substitute a drink for a milkshake and not get a fountain drink but today when I went there I got a fruit punch thinking maybe it was just in the soda or in the ice that day. Although the food there is good as I said I eat there two to three times a week they need to do something about cleaning their fountain drink machine for their ice machine something is definitely wrong there and the taste of it and even the smell I tried calling the restaurant but it was only a fax number so I could not talk to anyone marwen passing through there for work or something else not live in the area so I did not feel like driving back down there but other than that the restaurant seems to be okay and service is nice and polite they're always busy so people go there often surprising to me I didn't see any other post on here about how bad the soda taste or that there was an awkward taste in DeSoto maybe it's just me but I think they ought to...

Worse Wendy's I've ever been to. My standards are so low when it comes to fast food but this location still found a way to make it the absolute worst experience. I went near closing (about 10-15 minutes) and ordered a $35 order for me, my wife, and two kids (both under 5). Food was literally inedible. Burger and chicken patties would have been tastier frozen. Fries basically were frozen. I understand employees in service industries have a hard job, and the fact I went near closing was not ideal for both parties (this Wendy's location and myself) but there were not very many options for me and my family to choose from. However, I would have rather let my family starve than eat the so called "food" we were given. If anything, I hope Wendy's realizes that Quality Control is needed to have a standard product, bit more than ever at this location. Based on the product I was served this location should be shut down. . .and the bar is so low for fast food that for me to rant about a specific place should tell you how bad this experience was. I'll probably never eat at Wendy's again. . .I should've went to Jack in the Box down the street because they would've never let a product like this be served (although Jack is one of the lower fast food restaurants on my list). All I can say is save your money and don't waste it at this location. Either spend elsewhere or travel to another...

This Wendy's is thebworst Wendy's in san diego I live off Rosecrans and I have to drive all the way to pacific Beach location bc this location on midway is horrible forget the customer service which is bad. The burgers are terrible and Wendy's have great burgers they give you old stale bread for double stacks and Dave Burger. The whole staff should be fired, retrained, and monitoring their staff at all times. I'm warning you do not go there at all waste of money. The young Mexican guy at the windows is a jerk,Inconsiderate,rude,do not smile are greet you it's ridiculous they let them work there. The older Mexican women who is a manager has change her ways she was so rude and seem like she hated her job as a management, she is doing better and very welcoming with a smile now so you can tell someone hire up retrained her and tighten her up. I do secret shopping in so many locations from restaurants,malls,grocery stores even car dealer ships and this is bad and should be fixed immediately.
