Wow! Did not know this place existed! I had previously lived in San Dimas over 20 years and finally get to find hidden gems like this. If you like coffee and breakfast, I believe this is a great place to visit! I love how there is a nice outside seating that feels like you are in a different country in Spain or somewhere in Europe. To add to the experience the music was nice and soothing while me and my wife was eating our breakfast. Upon arrival, there is plenty of parking around, and just to note that they also have boosters if you have kids and they also have Smart Pay if you use that.
Food We were able to first try these items: The London Bagel- This was so good! They actually use Boar’s Head Roast Beef, so it isn’t just like your grocery store Hillshire or other brand roast beef. The Bagel was great with the cream cheese and pesto sauce, and I did not know I would actually like their pretzels. Their pretzels is not the regular type, they are seasoned, cant seem to tell where exactly it is from. The Turkey Caprese Panini - This was really good as well, bread was soft and it was a great mix with the tomatoes, olives inside. White Mocha Latte - I would caution that this was a good drink, but if you dont like sweet, I would recommend getting this. I would go for the Latte! Latte- It seems that they use Lavazza coffee here, so this was actually great to hear!
Outside, it was nice that the metal tables with metal chairs has the red umbrella’s with the fresh flowers inside the small vase. The decor inside was just so interesting, I dont have words to really describe it. There was a Christmas tree, there was art, there was plants… you just gotta check it out yourself!
Cant wait to stop by again, relax and try the other things they have on the menu. Will see you again soon...
Read moreThis is my favorite local cafe to escape to. Nestled near the railroad tracks in old town San Dimas, I feel like I'm transported to a little Parisian sidewalk cafe each time I visit. Happy yellow umbrellas highlight the black iron tables spread amongst the patio. Games like Connect 4 and jenga are available to keep the kids of all ages busy. California Pepper Trees provide beauty and shade, and the soft music coming from the cafe really adds to the peaceful ambiance. This is my favorite place to grab breakfast or brunch and read under the trees. In addition to the fabulous atmosphere, the food is excellent. Today, I had a Nutty Berlin bagel with a fruit bowl, fresh OJ, and a decaf vanilla latte. I usually get one of the savory breakfast croissants or a panini. The orange juice is always fresh squeezed and self-serve in a vintage red mini fridge. I have yet to taste a sour glass. The bagel was perfect with creamy peanut butter topped with fresh strawberries and just a kiss of powdered sugar. The fruit bowl is always refreshing with berries, oranges, and crisp cucumbers. The staff is friendly and welcoming. This is the kind of place that I love so much, but I almost don't want to tell anyone about it because then they'll know where I go when I just need a break. Lol. It's my happy...
Read moreI've wanted to try this cafe for awhile and stopped in with my family on Saturday for lunch. It is in a great location on San Dimas Ave and easy to find. You can't miss the Grove of pepper trees and the cafe's red umbrellas. It's perfect for lingering outside over coffee and good food. Their menu is breakfast and lunch with good variety-somethibg for everyone. I'm a huge fan of panini sandwiches and chose their turkey. Yum! Melty goodness with cheese, turkey, pesto, and arugula. They have interesting sides, not the usual chips, so we all chose something different:. Fruit, sliced English cucumbers or seasoned pretzels. Again yum! My peach iced tea came in a giant pottery mug and that sealed the deal. I love a giant mug of coffee or tea. Give them a try. It's charming, the service is great and the food is the backbone of the cafe. I'm definitely going back...
