I prefer this grocery store to the others in the area. The employees are always helpful and professional. The bakery has good bread, but unfortunately, you need to check the date before buying. Often, their "fresh" bread is already 2-3 days old. They tell me that the bread they always bake daily is the French bread, but often they're sold out. I refuse to buy "day old" bakery bread at full price. Note that they only provide the date "packed," not baked, so you're never guaranteed that the bread is fresh. Is this something directed by corporate? Von's is doing the same thing, but it doesn't make it right. We always stayed(boondocked) in the Alberson's parking lot in our class A motorhome upon arriving to California now that we love in Arizona. We would stay until the next morning, purchase groceries and when it was check in at Bonelli East shore , purchasing our overnight rv parking permit. Always all the way back away from the premium parking spots, never making any noise or littering.. Now we were told by Management that it was not allowed.. I fould bread crumbs out of code and every single container was expired...went and got a shopping cart and removed expired containers and that left the ssf pace emptyđĄ needed eggs and every 12pk was expiring the next day..also found tortillas out of code and brought it to a managers attention to be told that they weren't out of code..that they date with a code?
