One of our worst hotel experiences ever! We used to stay at this location several times a year, but after this stay we will not be back and will be very hesitant to stay at any Best Western. The check-in clerk at 8:40pm was terrible. He came out of a dark back office looking very disheveled, as if we had woken him from a nap. His comments to us were very personal and inappropriate, but the bigger issue was the room assignment. We actually stopped in that morning to be sure a note was on our reservation asking for a quiet room, as in the past we have always had a room in the back. He initially gave us a first floor room, so we asked for something on the second floor in the back. Instead he gave us the room right on top of the office, so no surprise we were disturbed all night by people slamming car doors in front of the office and walking by our room since we were near the top of the stairs. At most we were able to sleep from 1-5am because of all the noise, totally unsatisfactory! To top it off, there was a dirty orange bath towel on the sofa in the room, but we could overlook that if the check-in experience and room noise had been better. The morning check out clerk said she could not give us a receipt for our stay, something to do with charging us an extra $250, which in itself is inexcusable. We asked to speak to the manager and were told she would contact us when she came in, but that never happened, we still don't have a receipt, and we have not been credited back the extra $250 charge. We don't understand how a hotel we used to enjoy has become so bad, and are very sad for anyone else who has the misfortune of your evening clerk and noisy room above the office.

Breakfast is pretty good. Made to order. Rooms are tired and in need of refreshing. The first night the rooms were pretty bad. Toilet wobbled. 2 air fresheners trying to cover up some kind of fishy smell. Stains on couch and carpet. Beds seemed comfortable and nice. No water for showers in the morning due to city construction. However, the staff failed to tell us upon check in. So we missed the opportunity to shower - and we were headed to a funeral. Management didn’t seem to care and referred to some paper notices posted in a very small font. The next day we ask for different rooms. We looked at 5 until we found 2 that would work OK. Still had some stains but somewhat cleaner. The last night someone threw up on the stairs. We told the front desk. They said housekeeping will get to it. They didn’t. People continued to step in it and track it all over - and probably into the carpeted rooms. Based on the reviews it seems like management cared more in the past than they do now. Disappointing. Lots of air fresheners in use vs cleaning well.

A nice hotel that is at the high end of the mid-range Hotel. Very nice Central Courtyard with palm trees, a pool and a hot tub. Front staff seem to confuse our reservations but it all got worked out. The complimentary breakfast has fresh cooked food so it's better than the normal complimentary breakfast. There is also a bar with an advertised happy hour but it didn't seem to be open. The rooms in the grounds were all well-maintained.

For the most part, the hotel is nice. The building seems to be in good condition, and very clean. My room was, as well. The grounds are well-maintained and pretty, with a lot of beautiful rose bushes in the center. Also, in the center is a fenced-in pool, & I read, there was a jacuzzi spa. Last night was the first night of two that I will be staying there. Since I got back to the hotel late last night from work, & was up early again for work this morning, I haven't checked the pool and jacuzzi out yet. I can only say that it looks nice from a distance. My room is large and spacious. I disagree with the 1 review that I read that said that the room was dark. Between the bathroom, bedroom, dressing area and living room area, I counted 8 lights that I could turn on. I didn't find it to be dark, with or without every light on, and I didn't even open up the darkening shades this morning. That could have made it even brighter to let the natural daytime light in. What review I do agree with is the one that talked about how loud the bathroom fan is. When I got to the room a little after 11pm last night, turning on the light in the bathroom, which also turns on the fan, sounded like an airplane was flying overhead. It started to give me a headache. I turned it off, opened the door, & just used the light in the dressing area to see to use the bathroom. I wasn't looking forward to turning on the light/fan to take a shower this morning, but the sound of the shower drowns out the sound of the fan, fortunately. I forgot to pack a couple toiletries, so I called to the front desk this morning, & they were very good to supply them. I had to go to the front desk to get them, but I expected that. On my way to the front desk, I checked out the room that has the business center and fitness center. They both looked nice, but frankly, I was a little surprised that they were kind of in the same area, even though the business center was in a separated room. Interesting. If I was doing something on a computer there, I'm not sure that I would want to hear somebody working out. Although, it's impressive that the fitness room is 24-hrs. That's cool! I am very pleased to have free WiFi and breakfast. The breakfast was a nice surprise, because it is custom-made by a lady behind a counter instead of being a buffet that might get old and/or get thrown away if not all eaten. I ordered delicious waffles and ham off the menu on the wall. Then, there was a lady clearing tables and cleaning. It's very organized. Besides the loud bathroom fan, the biggest issue I had last night that prompts me to give a 4 rating, rather than a 5, is because the bed is one of the most uncomfortable beds I have ever slept on. I didn't notice it when I just sat on it, but through the night, I could hardly wait until morning. It didn't matter if I was laying on my back or sides, my body went numb, and it would wake me up. It was definitely not a peaceful sleep. I guess I am used to my mattress topper at home. That hotel bed could...

5/5 Stars - Stephany: An Exceptional Receptionist at Best Western!

I recently stayed at the Best Western Hotel, and I have to say, the service I received was truly exceptional—especially from one incredibly kind and helpful lady at the reception desk named Stephany. From the moment I walked in, she made me feel like a valued guest, greeting me with a warm smile and genuine enthusiasm.

Her attention to detail was remarkable. Stephany quickly checked me in, all while engaging in a friendly conversation that instantly put me at ease. It's clear that she takes pride in her job and enjoys making guests feel welcome.

Throughout my stay, Stephany went above and beyond to ensure I had everything I needed. I had a couple of questions about the local area, and she provided excellent recommendations for restaurants and attractions. She even took the time to draw out a little map for me, which was incredibly helpful. It's those small personal touches that really make a difference.

What stood out most was her genuine care for the guests. She remembered my name, which is always a lovely touch, and asked about my day whenever I passed by the front desk. It's clear that she enjoys creating a welcoming atmosphere and is committed to making everyone's stay enjoyable.

Overall, Stephany was the highlight of my stay at Best Western. Her kindness, professionalism, and exceptional customer service set her apart. If you're looking for a hotel where the staff truly goes the extra mile, this is the place for you. I can't thank her enough for making my visit so memorable, and I look forward to staying...
