I went it for the first time here for a retouch of my balayage. I was a dyed blondish ash that went brassy. I wanted to take out the brassy for icy blonde ash. My results were nice the first day. After almost two wks and 3-4 hair washes later it was back to brass, almost reddish. I called the stylist who was Very professional and asked if she could help me out with this brass. I wasn’t sure why this went back so quick. I went back and she put a toner on . My hair did get drastically darker. It made me sad that I lost my blonde and that I had to choose from two things I didn’t want brass or dark. She took me to the counter to charge $50. I told her I didn’t think there would be a charge. She called the manager over and his approach was bizarre. The first thing he told me was “ I heard there was a misunderstanding here and also that you’ve been washing your hair everyday”. He was very defensive without reason to be. I was working with the stylist to get to where I wanted it to be I just didn’t feel that charging another $50 for a correction on initial treatment was ok. I spent almost $600 when she did my hair first. It was $500 for hair and I also purchased products and tipped. It wasn’t about the $50. The manager was throwing so many things out, “well I don’t know what time shampoo you use, god forbid Garnier” , “ your Latina and your hair is not gonna take like hers” He was unprofessional, rude and ridiculous. I agreed to pay the $50 after making a deal with him that I would return for more services. He did apologize at the end for being “aggressive” I will not be returning here. I only saw Erik and Ashley work on IG, I was very impressed. I called to book for Erik or Ashley but the next appointment would be in 3-4 months. I asked for a stylist that did similar balayage but a soon. Suggested Taylor, went to IG, And loved her balayage! Before Taylor I was in tears about my hair color. I have been trying to go blonde for 8 months. Started Mechè left for balayage at the Beauty Can were I was left heart broken in tears never got balayage that I have been Wanting. Only consultation was right before the apt, She Actually listened, saw inspiration pictures and in 3 hrs Taylor gave me blonde hair of dreams!! First time in my life a hairstylist gave me perfect color the first time!! She also gave me the price up front before the service, very ethical, honest and hard working!! Don’t bother with Agencé salon. They used to have amazing service, but honestly they have had a steady decline in their customer service. I have tried to give them multiple chances to fix how they have handled situations and time after time they operate with the worst customer service. Stylist turnover is HIGH! They lose stylists often, they are not responsive to their messages, they make up new rules to try to keep your deposit even if you communicate. Save your money and try a new salon, it’s not worth it the time. I’ve been going to Agencé for over 3 years, so that should speak volumes. I’m not a new customer.
