El 7 Mares — Restaurant in San Fernando

I only put one star because my family has been coming here for years, but there is one server, Ashley, who has been extremely rude to us. We have never had an issue with any other server, on the contrary, some of the servers have become very good friends. However, with the server, Ashley, our family has had to make it a point to request any other server. A few weeks ago, when I came with my family, I ordered a regular margarita, which normally costs less than $20, but when the bill came, it was almost $50. When I asked Ashley about the price, she would not explain the price to me and just kept repeating that it’s “how much the drink costs”. Except every time I have came, the margaritas cost nowhere near that much. We also told the manager about our issue, he was no help, and instead defended the server, who refused to explain the pricing of the drink. Not only has my family had negative encounters with this waitress, but we have heard stories from other friends. $20.99 for the all you can buffet. Well worth it, you get your money's worth Because you get the choice of 3 different types of ceviche (very tasty), oysters, crab legs, fried tilapia, two different kinds of rice, shrimp, (breaded, in red sauce, raw), beef fajitas, chimichangas, and they have a section where you order and have freshly prepared tacos (hand made tortillas), omlets, pancakes (they were so delicious), and cotton candy (yes you read right!), And a salad and fresh fruit section. They also have 2 kinds of soup (seafood and beef pansa, (stomach for the gringos out there lol)

The place looked ok but just a bit dirty. The food was good but nothing special. Our first server seemed annoyed before he even seated us, forgot what we'd ordered and disappeared toard the end of the meal. We had to find another server to pay so we could leave. The restrooms were the worst part! Looked like a war zone with no toilet paper, no paper towels and no soap. The two employees hanging out in there complaining about work leaned on the sinks with no intention of at least running water over their hands.Think about that while a server hands you your plate if you decide...
