The city of San Fernando doesn't have very many spots to go that offer a good environment, great food and reasonable prices. The city just doesn't attract these business owners. So there are very few spots that people get excited about. This place seem to be one of them as it was recommended by a couple people when I was asking for all of the above. We looks forward to coming here tonight. Sadly, the experience was disappointing.
First, it is a cold night. As soon as we walked in the door and realize they had all the patio doors open creating a cold atmosphere, we knew we had to take food to go. However, the wide open doors would probably be quite nice on a warm sunny day.
Second, I was informed that a quesadilla does not come with any guacamole or sour cream, but instead pico de gallo is offered. That was weird and disappointing.
Third, as I placed my order I asked for a small order of guacamole. The young lady informed me the price was $7.99. I asked her why the menu said the price was $5.99. She replied that the cost of avocados went up a while ago so they raise their place a while ago. So why haven't they updated their menu to reflect the new price? I've posted a photo of the menu listing the price. This is a minor task and one of which should have been done immediately so not to upset your customers. Nobody likes to see an advertised price and then told they're going to have to pay more. Furthermore, the price of avocados have come down to a dollar each. The young lady said a small order was about one-and-a-half avocados. That's a pretty substantial markup.
Fourth, I proceeded to order ceviche. I asked for flour chips and explained that corn does not sit well with me. The young lady went to the kitchen and came back and told me they could not fry up a flour tortilla for me to have with my ceviche because it is too much trouble. Literally, those were the words used. Lol. Aside from telling a customer this, are you serious that it is too much trouble to fry a flour tortilla? Hahaaa!
I knew before I finished paying that even if the food is fabulous, I will never come back here. The customer service is disgraceful.
To top it off, we got to where we were going to eat our food only to find out that we were not provided a spoon for the clam chowder and the pico de gallo for the quesadilla was missing.
I would hope that this experience was an isolated incident, but I'm not willing to give it another try to find out.

Read moreThis place was recently remodeled so I went to check it out. Got the special and ordered a cucumber margarita because it sounded good for 11.99 which was fair. Food came and I wanted salsa on my taco. I asked the lady for salsa for my tacos. She looked at me and then pointed to the table that had three bottles of hot sauce two I didn’t know, and one was Tapatio. She said So do you want chips and salsa? I said no just salsa from my tacos would be nice. She proceeded to bring it out. So I got the bill and lo and behold my 1199 margarita was 1499 and they charge me for chips and salsa. I went to the counter to talk to our server and I said, what is this charge for chips and salsa? She said I told you there was hot sauce on the table I said you never told me that you were going to charge me for salsa and besides, you didn’t even bring me the chips. she said you want me to pack it up to go? OK fine I’ll pay for it. I said, what about the margarita? She said what about it I said it says 1199 on the menu and on the bill it says 1499 What’s up? another server but it in and said 1499 is for the big one. I said, then why do you have only one price on the menu? She said the server was supposed to tell me that (She didn’t) I said, did I get the big one? She said I don’t know. Then I said, how do you know 1499 was the right price then? All huffy she said, I’ll just take it off. I will NEVER Go here again I don’t mind paying for my meal. I just don’t like...

Customer service was mediocre. Everyone at the front was all over the place. There were two ladies handing out the take-out orders while one of them took phone orders, another preparing something behind the counter minding herself and a guy taking orders to the outdoor dine-in customers. No one was greeting customers or taking in-person orders. I kindly asked the girl with the high ponytail "Excuse me, who is taking orders" her frustrated response was "We all are 😒" She then walks over to the register and in a very frustrating tone asked "what's your name?" I gave her my name then she asked "and what do you want to order?" still in a very frustrating tone. She gives me my total, I pay she then hands me my change. No thank you or anything. Of course she got my order wrong. I didn't address her mistake or say anything, I just reordered my missing items. My wait time was less than 15 min. in that time, that same girl with the ponytail let out 2 frustrating grunts. She seemed overwhelmed with how busy they were. Everyone else did not show frustration at all. Either this girl is over worked, poorly trained or she's just rude. Her huffing and puffing at the fact that it's a busy night is not welcoming at all. *I would use names but she didn't have a name and tag. I point her out in the picture attached. The girl behind her handed me my order, she was...
