La Michoacana Top's Ice Cream Parlor — Restaurant in San Fernando

I discovered La Michoacana yesterday and fell in love with the quality of the products offered so much so that I came back this afternoon and purchased another $30 worth of ice cream bars for my daughter and her family. I plan on frequenting this beautiful little shop often. My only complaint would be today one of the customer service employees named Mary intentionally looked past me and asked the lady behind me if she was next. I repeatedly said excuse me to which Mary never made eye contact with me or offered to help me. I finally had to say her name out loud, MARY, I am next. She was rude and offered me no help selecting or answering any questions I had. She pretended to not know English. The lady next to me answered my questions and magically Mary understood and said Thank you. It is bad business to ignore a customer due to race. I had a wonderful young lady help me yesterday and she explained several items I was interested in and even suggested other items I may like as well. Mary should be reprimanded if not fired. That kind of action is unacceptable. I would also like to suggest opening a La Michoacana in Santa Clarita so my family can easily enjoy your beautifully skillful quality products....

Workflow is not efficient. Arrived there at 8:40pm and 8 customers in front of us. The line did not move at all. Observed workers for full 5 minutes waiting on each other, crowding the same stations one over the other through the whole line. No one managing the customer line outside running into traffic. Workers don't seemed engaged with the customers. Started ordering around 9:05pm simple order of four esquites. Got my order at 9:16. All that time witnessed the cashier charging 2 customer per 10 minutes i was waiting for my order. It was incredible how inefficient it all was from beginning to end. . for extra chili on my cooked corn and my corn was prepped with 4 scoops of cheese and a lot of chili my esquite came out too salty. Came home and wash off everything and still salty. If i even dare coming here to try icecream better come with atleast 40 to an hour of time. Will update if I come back wonder if it was the cheese or the chili that made my food...

The people here are great! Too bad their Managment does not care that their store is so hot! Their AC is broken and although it doesnt affect the customers Im making this review for the eyes of their owner. How can you feel comfortable leaving for who knows how long and leaving your employees to work in the heat. They were very hesitant to let me know how long its been like this but from their face expressions it seems like its been almost a month! You have great employees, but have some ethics. Dont make them "wait" for you to arrive so you can look at it. Like come on. How can you be so cruel.
