San Fernando Coffee Company — Restaurant in San Fernando

I had hesitated to write this because I thought maybe it was a one time thing but recently I’ve heard more stories about the bad customer service. I was there at least once a week and I got my friends to try it but the last time I was there I ordered food and as I was waiting for it, the guy with the long hair calls a name so I go up and he asks “are you picking up” with such a hostile tone and I say “no, I thought you called my name for the food” and then his tone gets worse and tells me it’s not for me and the person who it was for didn’t understand him either so he had to repeat the name again but looks at me and says “I SAID (other name)!”. I got defensive too at that point so I said “OK!” and him and the young girl started laughing. Then when my food was ready he called my name and said it really slow and in his hostile tone. I grabbed my food and him and the girl started laughing again. I have not returned. That guy with the long hair has a horrible attitude and I’m usually extremely patient and let a lot of things slide because I know it gets busy and some customers are jerks but I had never been rude or disrespectful so it was just...

I went this week. The service was decent, but within seconds of ordering the barista at the register forgot my order and I had to correct her several times. I noticed the coffee is also not freshly brewed and iced lattes are made with the same jug of pre-made coffee poured over ice and whatever foam that is on top. I ordered a smoked lattes and was pretty disappointed. It was just and iced coffee with chocolate foam. I also ordered a Mexican Mocha latte, which I hoped would taste similar to champurado, but was sadly given a sour latte that did not even taste like chocolate. Hate writing this review.. I do like this spot in comparison to Starbucks, but the timing at this place is horrible. I placed an order at 11:15am and didn't get my order until 11:54am.. I ordered a drink and a bagel ahead of time because I was in between clients and still somehow ended up having to wait while everyone else was getting their items. The everything bagel was OK. It could've been toasted. The drink was made great. The girls are sweet. Unfortunately, I couldn't enjoy it because the wait time cut into me actually eating the bagel. So I only had 3 bites and threw it out because it was weird by the time I was finished with my clients. Also, $20 for 2 items is kinda crazy to me. Especially when it's nothing...
