Billingsgate — Restaurant in San Francisco

Huge fan of ordering delivery from 4-Star Seafood, and now a huge fan of Billingsgate as well. Stopped by yesterday to get king salmon & some prepared takeout for dinner; after waiting in line for a bit, the power went out! Wouldn't go back on for a couple of hours, which meant impossible for them to do credit card sales. After seeing my crestfallen face (even under my mask!), one of the owners, Esteban Macias, told me to get whatever I want and pay next time I come in. I offered to send in a check, but he wouldn't hear of it: "I trust you." A seafood store with flavors of Italy and Japan. You can order seafood to take home and eat or prepare, or dine in. Service was welcoming and helpful.

We had the Spanish octopus carpaccio and Wild Scallop Ceviche both of which were light and tasty.

They also had a nice section of Japanese shoyu and food items and Italian food items.

The bathroom was clean and pleasant.

The area, Noe Valley, is a busy, active neighborhood with nice shops and eateries, full of friendly people...

Billingsgate Is An Absolute Gem!! Having experiences that are filled with quality, integrity and kind service are so desired in this troubled world in which we are living. I just learned of Billingsgate and I went today. The cuisine was pristine - every choice that I made including marvelous greens with the Dungeness Salad. Lovely Sauterne .
