It didn't blow my mind on the first bite, more like it was good and convenient for that time of the night. . Ordered me a small cheese steak sandwich with grilled provolone cheese and grilled mushrooms with grilled onions. I prefer this over fast food any day because it's more special. . Was roaming around in the area late night. I was hungry so this place came up and I thought a hidden gem or hole in the wall kind of place. So let's try it out. . I love the layout because it's like a hole in the wall. They have very limited window and bar seating. The entrance is when you first walk in the counter is there and you order and pay. It is cash only. Then you either wait inside or outside. Inside is so small, I rather wait outside. . So they make everything fresh. But when I got the bun it was like warm which I was dissapointed and wasnt as soft and spongy as I thought it would be. The inside of the meat and cheese is perfect. . I love the sauce bar with like over 6 bottles of hot sauce and bbq sauce. The honey garlic sauce stood out the most to me. I loved how tasty it was. . Overall it was ok. Nothing blew my mind away when I had it. Even after finishing it I was just another sandwich but didnt make me crave it wanting more. But I will keep in mind there's this place if I'm in the.mood for some philly chesse steak...

Sometimes you just want a sandwich for lunch. Then you realize none of the meat looks interesting. Or perhaps that wasted condiment space where more meat should be turns you off! Then what you truly need is an amazing Philly Cheese Steak from Buster's if you're nearby.

There's other good sandwich options, and perhaps you prefer all the condiments/add-ons/or a bit of leafy greens added in. Then these options are also available for you. But for me, the one add-on I need is the CHEESE WIZ!

I enjoy a lot of philly cheese steaks, don't get me wrong I'm not an elitist. Sometimes I want one with chicken. Maybe some tomatoes. Extra onions perhaps. But on this day I wanted a good cheese wiz philly hot and ready.

Along with the many options for those who desire them, are the PERFECT crinkle cut boardwalk fries. Just enough crisp on the outside, perfect smooth factor for the inside of the fry and one large fry is enough for a hungry hungry hippo (like myself that day) or to share with a friend.

If you're in Chinatown and desire something other than dumplings, or near Italian district and don't want pizza, come get this Philly. You'll...

My cousin G. was in town after defecting to the Lonestar state and we still love him despite that decision and I decided to join him and some friends for a night of bar hopping in this post COVID city life. It was nice to be out again and breathe the crisp cold air of the city. But as nice as it was to be in bars without crowds, it all felt... Empty. Less lively. Less spirited. Nevertheless, good to be with family and friends. Anyhow... Buster's. A little tipsy, a lotta hungry we made our way in here after jumping out of a hotel we pondered eating at by getting a table and then deciding to bail. This place is no frills, open late, and it was jumping. I've always loved cheese steak so I ordered the classic with provolone, and onions. Large of course. I can't truly tell you how good it was because a buzzed mind thinks everything tastes good. I love it when the cheese stretches in your cheese steak. Doesn't matter how good this place may or may not be for cheese steak. The line of customers tells me this place must be good. My intoxicated memory gives this place 5 stars. Great place to soak up that alcohol late at night...

The best cheeseteak shop is usually just the one in the corner nearest to you. Buster's is a great late night spot, when you're fiending after drinks. It's simple and straightforward. You walk in off the block, you order a large. Why a large? Cause why wouldn't you when it's literally like a $1.00 - $1.50 more? Boom, the griddle heats up and the meat hisses. Couple minutes in, it's out. Slather on some of their garlic sauce, and it's a meal or two depending on how hungry you are. Best thing about this place is that they're open late and they're open during holidays. Even Christmas Eve. Tip the good people, feed that hunger, and you're back out to finish your night.

The ingredients are fresh. Know what you want when you order. Don't debate on cheese, the only way to have a cheesesteak is with wiz. Flavors are on point but are easily manipulated by the half dozen or so sauces. Garlic chili and Louisiana are personal favorites. The fries are great too and also easily upgradeable with chili, garlic and cheese or a combination of them all. If greasy kitchens and crowded dining areas aren't your thing, order online. There must have been a dozen orders marched out by delivery drivers in the thirty minutes I was here. Great sandwich, great price.
