⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Incredible Halal Food & Amazing Vibes at Café Da Fonk!
I recently discovered Café Da Fonk, and it’s quickly become my go-to spot for both breakfast and lunch in San Francisco. The food is 100% halal and the menu has such a great variety—you can really taste the care that goes into every dish. I had the Khadija’s Veggie Dream Bowl for lunch, and it was packed with flavor and super fresh! For breakfast, their Yazzy’s Jazzy Spicy Eggy Muffin is a must-try, especially if you love something with a kick.
Not only is the food delicious, but the café itself has such a welcoming and funky vibe. Whether I’m grabbing coffee or sitting down for a quick meal, the service is always friendly things may take awhile since they make everything to order. Plus, their Chaga-chino is hands down the best coffee drink I’ve had in the city.
If you're looking for authentic halal food with a creative twist, I highly recommend checking out Café Da Fonk. It's also perfect for online orders and delivery—everything arrives fresh and well-packed. A true hidden gem in...
Read more🤯 Biscuits are better than Khanfectionary in the Mission. The jalapeño biscuit for the breakfast sandwich was delicious and comes with a nice arugula side salad.
🥚 We also had the huevos on crispy little tortillas. Very good, especially with the chipotle sauce on the side.
☕️ pour over coffe was also lovely
🥰 the owner stopped by our table to check on us and she is a delight. She spent about a decade in Berlin, Germany, and brings some international flair to the café menu, ambience, and playlist.
🤤 the everything biscuit, the apple pie biscuit, and the Matcha strawberry biscuit are also worth trying. I personally like the everything biscuit the best, but if you want something a bit more sweet go for the 🍎apple pie biscuit, and if you want a lot more sweet (think bear claw level sweet) then go for the Matcha strawberry option. You better grab a coffee with that one though ‘cause it is SWEET.
🛋️ the place has eclectic seating, with a couple of couches a few two top tables and a few four top tables. Great to pop in on your own, or with a...
Read moreThis place is really cute, it got nice vibes and songs. First of its HALAL. I am super thankful for that because not many things are halal. So it’s always good to have more options. People with halal dietary restrictions definitely check this place out. The lady at the counter was very friendly and patient. I went there with my siblings, mom and husband, who took their time to decide what to order, We ordered all the food below and everything was fantastic. The rose and fruit along with some dessert baked sample they gave us were splendid! The only things my mum added to her grilled chicken plate was that the chicken felt a bit dry and not as juicy but the flavor she loved a lot, but then again my mum is a bit picky. The sample she gave us was of carrot cake, bread pudding and the ube pie/tart. All of them were really good. Our favorites were the bread pudding and ube pie, those were super super good. If you are in the area definitely stop by and try...
