Ugh. I hate to post sub-par reviews but I feel like it’s a PSA to let you all know there is a automatic 18% gratuity service charge already added to your bill. To be fair, they did circle it on the second receipt… Coming from decades in hospitality industry, I always start from 20% gratuity in mind. As things fail, I lower it accordingly. I would have considered 15% generous but 18% was their mandatory minimum. The 1st star given is due to the fact they actually had real Peking duck available (without having to preorder). 2nd star because everyone’s having staff issues and you could see they severely needed at least one other person to service their dinner crowd. 3rd star for the food was good but not as expected nor great. The Peking duck’s skin was shaved off (else, it’s just roasted duck) but not crispy. The cut pieces had shards of bone throughout and was hard to easily make and eat your Peking duck bao/bun (sans bones and shards). The 4th star fell off due to really painfully slow service all around- from entry, wait to be acknowledged and seated, wait to take our order, not giving us peanuts with our tea (as observed at other tables), having to ask for Togo containers, having to then ask for our check (was incorrectly charged for 2 half duck @$28 ea vs our whole duck @$48) and getting the revised check, and then for them to process my credit card. Then to add insult, we saw other customers received a nice complimentary dish of mango pudding, and we were served red bean soup. Disappointed and feeling profiled, even though Asian and able to speak/understand Cantonese, we will not be coming back.

Had a family dinner here as my cousins were going to fly back to HK. I've came here many times and always enjoyed my time here but this time was a little different. The manager? wanted to change one of our dishes to siu-yook with green beans. It was originally eggplant and green beans dish. We just said ok because we can tell she will go on and on about how this new dish will suit us better and we already had another eggplant dish, which we didn't mind. I realize she probably wanted this change as the siu yook was probably from the afternoon lunch time, she wanted to get rid of it so she came up with this dish. Just MY theory and some of me family members felt the same. She was pushing real hard for us to change the dish. My boyfriend also didn't want their dessert so I asked the waitress can you give us one less bowl of it. She was fine with it but the manager? overheard and made a big deal out of it. She wanted us to take the extra bowl even if no one was going to eat it and went on and on about it. There was a couple of other small things she did which I wasn't very fond of. All of the times I've came here I hadn't seen her before so I never had this issue. Overall, some of the food was good but some was to salty. Despite this 'bad' experience, there was many good experiences I had here and would still want to come again... just hope the manager? wasn't there LOL

One the way to the park but found this dim sum place so didn’t not think of anything just walked into it. Got FURIOUS after realizing the mid aged waiter charging 15% tips without even asking. And plus they tax you for the tip so they can charge more. It is illegal to do it let’s hope they will not get in trouble. When he gave me back the receipt the tips request was covering the receipt, whoever was not seeing this while chitchatting with friend would have gotten caught by tipping them twice I’m pretty sure I was planning to tip them that much though but that moment I really wanna leave them $1 tip for how rude it it the way they did . So guys watch out before entering it. Too greedy and poor management

Would give it zero stars if I could! Where do I even start? This restaurant is shady and deceptive! Our party of 11 ordered the set menu for $368 which included the lobster. However, we were served the crab instead (we were never asked or told that this dish would be substituted). When we asked for a discount at the time the bill was presented, given that the cheaper substituted crab was given instead of the lobster, the manager (heavy set, short, about 4'5" squat, older Asian woman with a mask on in a black pants suit) rudely tells us that they ran out of lobster which is why we were served the crab. She says no discounts are given for the set menu. But, get this, as we were leaving, we noticed the seafood tank (which was behind us) was FULL OF LOBSTERS!! Like, are you for real that you're going to be that stupid enough to lie about that??? So shady!! When confronted with her big fat lie, she says nothing but tries to offer us some stale muffins! Seriously? So weird! On top of that, the place is disorganized, food was low quality; the cubed beef was inedible bc it was too tough and couldn't be chewed through, the crab was oversalted, and the crab maw soup was bland, like water. After placing our order, we waited over 1 hour before the 1st course was even served! We should have walked out. Seriously, don't waste your time or hard earned money on this place. Don't let the line fool you, there's a line outside only bc they're so dang slow and incompetent and are deceptive in stating a lobster for your meal and they'll only give you a cheap crab instead! You'll only fool customers once! BUYER BEWARE!! Restaurant sucks big time, pls spend your time and money on a quality restaurant instead...
