Got my hair cut and dyed with Rena! She was very informative and helpful with her suggestions on how to achieve certain styles for my hair texture (which is technically thick asian hair, but the strands itself are fine). She was able to dye my hair with minimum damage and was very conscious about if I wanted to have constant upkeep/low maintenance hair. We kept my hair dark so that it would lighten up over time. Attaching the indoor lighting vs outdoor lighting to show what a difference lighting can make!

When I heard that Hiro was opening her own salon, I immediately jumped at booking an appointment. I’d been getting my hair cut by her for several years, and she always impressed me with her attention to detail, friendly personality, and skillful styling of my Asian hair. I’m not super picky with my style, but I’ve found that there are very few stylists outside of Asia that I can trust to cut and texture my hair in a way I’ve found satisfying. Hiro has consistently delivered great results, and my fiancé agrees. This place is such a gem! I came here for hair coloring and haircut and the whole experience was so enjoyable. Marie was amazing - attentive, kind and so talented! It was super easy to book an appointment online - they are booked well in advance so I left a comment in my reservation to see if they are able to have me in earlier and Marie reach out to get me in the next day because of a cancellation! The studio itself was very comfortable, clean and modern. The best part is that the price is so reasonable for the level of quality and service.
