I like getting vegetarian sandwiches because it lets you clearly taste the quality of the veggies/bread without the more powerful meat flavors. The veggie sandwich here was a bit disappointing unfortunately. Their menu (when I ordered online) says the bread is a "Rize Up Panini", but what I actually ended up getting was more like a sesame hoagie roll. It was alright, but I wasn't a fan of the sesame taste for this sandwich. Ciabatta or even a regular sourdough would have been better IMO. The veggies did indeed taste fresh, but the sauces really let it down. The sriracha/garlic aioli was extremely bland and just tasted like plain mayonnaise. Not having meat means you need to add additional salt and spices to the sandwich to compensate, which were missing here.

Overall, it was a decent sandwich, but I wouldn't pay $16+tax again. Perhaps their meat sandwiches or breakfast dishes are better considering everyone else seems to...

Iggy’s Place is a hidden gem. Behind the no nonsense, warm and unassuming facade mind blowing food is front and center. The matzo ball soup broth is clear and comforting and in it rests a light and fluffy matzo ball which together are delicious and nostalgic leaving you wanting more, especially on a crisp San Francisco afternoon. The pork belly sandwich cannot be described in words. The pork itself with a touch of sweetness and spice is cooked to perfection. The fresh baked roll layered with a mouth watering aioli with hints of garlic and Sriracha is the perfect combination. To help with any feelings of guilt of such decadence it’s topped with fresh arugula which also counterbalances the subtle sweetness. It is truly divine. The best sandwich I’ve ever had. I can’t wait to be back to try the brisket! What a wonderful addition to the...

Wife & I on 5 week trip from NC to California. Been awhile since we been out here. Decided to hang out in Golden Gate Park so I looked up deli sandwiches near me on Google maps. Iggy’s popped up & great reviews. For anyone out there who travels to big cities parking is a challenge. Dropped wife off & waited in car a few blocks away & wife texted when she was ready. Got back to GGP. Wow! What a sandwich! Can’t get anything like this in North Carolina. Makes me wish I still lived in my hometown of Chicago where I had variety & food from any nationality. Fresh everything & top quality! We devoured our sandwich that we split. Iggy’s, you done yourself proud. NY, Chicago, SF the only places to get top quality, variety, & fair prices, and great crusty, dense, chewy in the middle bread! I could go for one of these...

A nice Ukrainian brunch place. The food is excellent, welcoming, and feels like a nice home cooked brunch! We loved it!! (It's not like other typical "industrial" chain diners where everything its overpowered with syrup, and fattening, or bad for you) Freshly squeezed orange juice, Ukrainian borsch, Pancakes with fresh berries, Caprese Eggs served with salad, toast and hash browns... really well done. You checkout the menu and order at the counter. It's a small but lovely place with both indoor and outdoor seating, family owned and run, and have other freshly prepared handmade dumpling (pelmeni or pierogi, I think) for dinners. Highly recommend for a nice weekend brunch or dinner with friends. Thank you Iggy's - see you next time!!

The Caprese scramble was in and of itself a revelation, fresh mozzarella, delicious pesto, kale--omg. But then when you couple it with delightful rare latkes as a breakfast potato delivery system and a fresh as it gets tossed Spring salad. My husband thoroughly enjoyed his Benedict with a freshly baked muffin. I bet my toast would have been over the top good too but since I avoid even gluten free toast, I wouldn't know. Best restaurant breakfast I can remember. I enjoyed sitting outside under the heater on a cool day and the bottomless coffee (rare) as well. They were out of TP and the hostess was a tiny but prickly but she was also apologetic and charming so it's all good
