I attached photos of the owner Tita Tess, I just want to say that she's the nicest restaurant owner I've ever encountered and to find out that she's Filipino makes me even more proud of these people. She makes classic Filipino cuisine and dessert. All her food are fresh everyday and she has soda and snacks for people who are missing the Philippines. The place is very clean and the food is Affordable. I can even stress enough how nice and accommodating this place is. I can't contest that this restaurant is dubbed to be the best Filipino restaurant in San Francisco because it really is. Hope to bring my SO here soon!

This cute little spot led by Ate Tess is a Filipino restaurant that I highly recommend to anyone to visit. The food here reminds me of home and my Filipino roots (at a reasonable price for a spot in the city). Ate Tess sets the hospitable atmosphere and has a lot to say (with her constant smiles) when you take the time to "talk story" with her. Not only does she take care of you through food, but she also takes care of you through her words of wisdom. Ate Tess, I will never forget to smile! See you soon! :)

Had the pork adobo and loganisa. Really wanted to like this place because I haven't found good adobo anywhere in sf. Unfortunately, the pork was extremely tough and dry; the flavor was not bad. On the hand, the texture of the loganisa was great, but it's sweeter than typical and had a really strong buttery caramel finish that was unpleasant imo. I couldn't finish either dish.

High Five for JT’s Filipino Restaurant!

If you’re craving authentic, home-style Filipino comfort food in San Francisco, JT’s Filipino Restaurant is the spot! I stopped by and ordered their Longanisa and Afritada over rice, and let me tell you—it was a flavor-packed experience!

The longanisa was perfectly sweet, savory, and caramelized just right, with that irresistible snap in every bite. The afritada? Tender chunks of meat simmered in a rich, tomato-based sauce, full of deep, hearty flavors. Served over a bed of steaming white rice, it was the perfect balance of sweet, savory, and satisfying.

The portion sizes were generous, the service was warm and welcoming, and the food tasted just like a home-cooked meal. Don’t let the atmosphere distract you from the home-cooking deliciousness—this place is all about the food, and it delivers big time.

Five stars, high fives all around—definitely coming...

My family and I love her longganiza (pork sausage), salted egg, fried bangus (milk fish) & GG, dinuguan, lumpiang shanghai and this is it pansit. For dessert, I used to order cassava cake and biko (rice cake). Once in awhile, Tita Tess would also prepare atsara (pickled papaya) which is also my fave. Her restaurant is a typical turo-turo (point point) style of restaurant which is common in the Philippines. I also enjoy chatting with her hubby Amigo Juan who could speak few Tagalog words with a...
