We had a great experience here! Started off with the samosas—crispy, flavоrful, and a perfect. For mains, we tried the Khao Soi Fried Chicken which was my favorite!, Green Curry with chicken, and Pad Gra Pao with beef. The Khao Soi was rich and creamy with just a hint of sweetness from the coconut curry, and the noodles were perfectly tender. The Green Curry was solid, and the Pad Gra Pao paired really well with the beеf and sauce. They let you choose your spice level, we went with mild, and it had just the right amount of kick. Portions were generous and very satisfying. For dessert, we had “Mama’s Favorite” with sticky rice and corn and it was delicious and nicely balanced, not overly sweet. Also I tried the blue lychee drink, which was super refreshing and fun. Service was fast, and the space itself is clean, cozy, and nicely decorated. Prices are reasonable for the quality and...
Read moreIt's located right next to this church. The Khaosoi was too sweet. I did not order that, someone else I came with did. But it was tough trying to finish it. As a South East Asian myself, probably if you're from that region you may find it too sweet as we are used to more spicy-tangy flavourful profiles for Thai food. However tbh it's my first time trying out this 'Khaosoi' dish so not too sure if that's what it's supposed to be like. It may have been modified & sweeter, less spicy for American tastes but I really don't know. It's good that they have vegetarian options (for me) if you are not too fussy ! :) I ordered the Green Curry with Tofu & Veges it was decent. Good for me although it was rather creamy & I would have preferred some more basil leaves etc. But again the authentic flavour profile might be too strong for Americans. Fishcakes & sweet sauce was perfect!...
Read moreKhaoSoi is a must try new restaurant in the inner Richmond. Warm and Cozy Thai comfort food made to near perfection. Everything we tried was fresh and full of flavor and intricate nuance. The portions are great, the prices are on point and you will not find a better balance of flavor and texture and ambience all in one spot. Do yourself a solid favor and check it out. I plan on making this a regular stop for sure. I tried several appetizers. The Samosas are so light and fluffy and the Peanut sauce a lovely companion. The cucumber salad was just the right amount of sweetness. The Thai fried rice with Fried Chicken is some of the best I have ever had. The Beef Khao Soi falls off the bone and dives right into a delicate curry sauce with...
