Lers Ros — Restaurant in San Francisco

A couple coworkers and I walked down to get lunch on our break and fully enjoyed ourselves. There weren't many staff members on the floor, which wouldn't have normally been an issue if a particularly high-demand table hadn't been requesting all their attention. When we were able to order it didn't take long to get our food, which was absolutely delicious. The lunch combo offered a few options, from which I chose the red curry and garlic pork (pictured). Said combo also came with a salad (pictured) that had some of the unexpectedly most pleasant and unique dressing I've tasted in a quite a while (it tasted like a blend of mango and chile, akin to a sliced mango from a street cart). While the flavors of the curry were good and standard to what is expected from a red curry, I felt it was slightly overloaded with vegetables to the extent that I couldn't easily get my spoon into the bowl to enjoy it (some people might consider this a bonus, but I don't order curry expecting to hack through a dense veggie thicket with my spoon). 😅 The garlic pork was phenomenal and I don't have words to do it justice. The thai tea was deliciously standard. I'll definitely go again if I'm in the neighborhood and feeling Thai.

TLDR; Delicious food. Could be understaffed. Ordered lunch combo w/ red curry and garlic pork. Great dressing on side salad. Too many veggies in curry. Amazing garlic...

If I could give it a Zero I would. Me and the fiance ordered food around 8:20pm and we were so excited because We love the food at This place, well the Tenderloin location anyway, even Hayes Valley. Anyway, we order the food at 8:20pm, lady on phone tells me it's going to take 45min-1hour. Ok that's normal, fine. So we decided to wait. 9:20pm comes and we call wondering where our food is... "On the way..." we said ok. 9:40pm hits and I decide to call, wondering where it might be. "On the way..." We said maybe it'll be soon. Then finally 10pm hits, mind you we ordered at 8:40pm, the manager picks up and says: "I'm so sorry, I will give you a refund on your order because we see you order from us all the time" Me: " oh thank you so much" Manager: "no problem" We get our food at 10:30pm (waited 2 hours 10min) - no tip to delivery. I check my statements, they charged me the full amount for the meal and DID NOT GIVE ME THE REFUND PROMISED. Dont listen to the manager at this site, go eat at Hayes valley or Tenderloin. These people don't care about customer satisfaction or keep their promises...

The duck larb was on the saltier side and was not as Duckfilled as the Larkin location, but was still declicious and still one of my favorite plates. The spiciness mixed with the fresh lemon and salt flavors are refreshing and incredibly tasty and goes so will with the savory and crispy duck.

The papaya salad was solid...the bigger shavings of papaya make it more rustic, which i'm on the fence about. On the lemonier side as I am more used to the earthier crab/crab paste enriched flavors. The raw crab doesn't disappoint.

The LEK TOM YUM HAENG was quite delcious with the combinations of meat, sauces, and sugar on top (literally). Think 25 dry but heartier, and it didn't even need soup. They bill it as a dry tom yum, but the flavors are more savory.

Along with the trendy decor and delcious food, the service is also really refined. The staff is overly eager to help, which is always appreciated, especially when you need more water.... SPICE...
