Ive Gone to many places before I’m 38 Year Old Veteran With 100 Percent Disabilities From the Day I ever walked in there. I was treated like a child by what looks like a man not even 25 Years Old. I walked in and nobody was checking ID. I finally find the guy and he yells at me as if I am wrong for being there. He checks my ID. And treats me like I tried to sneak in there. The last time I was there that same kid walks up to me and says that I am standing there too much looking like I am drunk. He told me I had to leave and didn’t even let me finish my drinks. It’s becoming obvious to me that I am not gonna be Welcome in this bar. I have been to Bar after Bar in San Francisco and never have I been treated like an idiot just for walking in to the place and never have I ever been asked to leave because I was drinking and felt drunk because of it.
I am pretty sure as long as I go there. I will be treated like a Jerk by someone who is younger than me and like a criminal for being there. Nothing I do in there is right. Not as long as that bartender sees me.
I can’t enjoy this bar. It looks like that bar tender is gonna keep making my life Hell
It’s such an insult to someone who went to war for this Country. I’m not being accepted and it’s that bar...
Read moreThis place usually has chill bar staff and cheap drinks.
However, I brought a large group straight in after a BYOB show around the corner to hang out and celebrate and buy drinks. We brought in a single bag of leftover food and the remaining couple cans of warm leftover beer and set it aside and left it untouched with our jackets for the remainder of the evening. The bar tender was awesome, friendly, and courteous, we spent a couple hours there and bought quite a few beverages, but a dark-haired curly-headed bar back passing by stopped and curtly pointed at our bag asked what was in the bag. Because I wasn't hiding anything I told him "Leftover food and warm beer". We were instructed to leave "immediately", even after explaining it was from earlier, we had no intention of drinking it, and he could actually take it. He really rudely insisted "No, out right now".
The shade we were thrown killed our night, and we left really bummed. I left the beer they kicked us out over because it was unimportant, and I wanted them to know that.
The drinks are cheap, and the vibe is kinda cool, but killing our buzz ruined the night. Not really interested...
Read moreOverall a fine dive bar with good prices.. darts and pool tables HOWEVER if you want to play pool beware that you may have to argue with the old men who run the tables all night long to get one game in. They tried to tell my boyfriend and I that we couldn't play pool together and are expecting us to pay to play with one of them?? No thanks. To top things off.. we gave up on pool and went to play darts, and shortly after we started playing, a man came and stood in front of the dart board to distract us while one of his friends snagged my friend's purse.
Long story short, the bar itself is OK.. but I don't appreciate or trust the shady people that...
