Dishonest Practices and Poor Service - 0/5 Stars
To Owners reply: "Simply not true. I have been in touch with GrubHub already before sharing my feedback. The situation was verified by GrubHub support, and the issues I raised in my review are based on the facts I encountered. I urge you to look into this matter seriously, as it reflects on both your business and your partnership with GrubHub. My experience was frustrating and disappointing, and it’s important for businesses to take customer concerns seriously rather than dismissing them as misinformation."

My original Post:
I wish I didn't have to write this review, but my recent experience with Little Delhi was disappointing on multiple levels. I ordered a late dinner through GrubHub while staying at a hotel nearby. Unfortunately, the driver went to the wrong address, and the order was canceled by GrubHub—a frustrating but understandable mistake.
What followed, however, was unacceptable. Instead of simply canceling the order as GrubHub had done, the restaurant took it upon themselves to reorder and bill me automatically—without my consent. To make matters worse, they added items that I hadn’t even ordered the first time around.
I understand that running a small business, especially a restaurant in San Francisco, is challenging. But ethics and transparency matter, and this kind of behavior is simply not acceptable. It’s troubling to leave a zero-star review, but I feel compelled to warn others about this dishonest practice.
If you’re considering ordering from Little Delhi, think twice. You might find yourself in a situation like mine—dealing with unauthorized charges and unwanted food.

Read moreWell I wasn't expecting much from this restaurant. The name sounded exciting but I have been disappointed by Indian food so wasn't expecting anything great but that was until I stepped into this gem called as "Little Delhi".
So on a rainy evening we decided to check this place out. The place looks small from outside but is very spacious and has a bar too. I went here twice during my last visit to sfo, that definitely means I had a great experience here.
As we walked in we were seated to a table right next to the bar. So they give you this papad with chutneys(tamarind and corinader ) when one looks at the menu, this is so common for restuarants back in India. Below is the food which we enjoyed during my two visits here -
Day 1-
Chilli Chicken Chicken Tikka Masala Chicken Biryani Plain and Garlic naan's
Day 2-
Mojitos Chili Chicken Chicken Tandoori Chicken tikka kakab
Let me start off by saying that "Chilli Chicken" was one the most tasty chilli chicken's I have had in a very long time. Everything was so perfect about it right from boneless chicken, right amount og sauce, peppers and onions. The chicken tikka masala was not spicy was really tasty. I still remember licking my fingers after eating that F**KIN awesome biryani. The naans were fresh too. There was so much food that we had to take it back home.
During my second visit I told them to make food extra spicy, thier definition of "Extra Spicy" is really to the point. The food came out fresh and was super spicy like Indian spicy not American spicy. My Moijito wasn't strong but that was a $5 mojito so can't complain. The service was decent.
I am defintely coming back here for my Indian...
Read moreI've been here a few times now and just can't seem to love it as much as the other reviewers. The first time I went, I was craving Indian food and was trying to find a place near Union Square to have lunch with a friend. I originally wanted to try Punjab Kabab since they're on the 7x7 list (Chicken Curry Lunch Special) but apparently they don't have it on the weekends. Luckily Little Delhi was right across the street.
So far I've tried: Chicken Tikka Masala Butter Chicken Saag Paneer Lamb Biryani Garlic Naan Basmati Rice Mango Lassi Chai Tea
Admittedly, everything was pretty good. I have no complaints about the CTM. I don't care for Saag Paneer, that was more for everyone else at the table. On the other hand, the Butter Chicken surprised me because I kept having to pick out bones and/or seasonings that were un-chewable, which ruined my meal and appetite. Same for the Lamb Biryani, which I was very excited to try. I hate having to be mindful of chewing just in case I end up breaking a tooth, especially when you're eating plates that you're supposed to be able to swallow easily. The service is kind of nonexistent also. They're very nice to you when they are at your table, but don't come back unless you wave your arms like crazy to get their attention. If I ever go back, maybe I'll leave in a better mood if I just order the CTM but then I'd rather go to...
