One of the worst bars in SF --- seriously don't waste your $10 getting in here! The music is so terrible (at least on Friday nights) and one of the bartenders is the meanest, grumpiest old men who literally SCREAMS at people trying to buy a beer.

Waited 15 minutes for a drink and when I finally started to flag him down after seeing everyone else around me get served quickly, he literally got in my face and screamed "have you ever been to a busy bar before?" Yes, sir, I have. That's why I waited patiently for 15-20 minutes, but after being ignored the entire time, needed to start trying to get your attention. So then the real question becomes: does this place care about their business and how they treat people? Clearly not by that interaction.

And it really goes to show how illegitimate of a place this is when you ask for a manager and everyone tells you the two bartenders are managing.... um pretty sure they can't properly manage the entire business while behind a "busy bar." Don't tell their insurance company this place has no real...

Jonathan Richman doing his annual residency here and occasionally frequenting the joint (among other micro heroes) should be enough for most people to worship the threshold of this place. But if it’s not, consider that it is one of the longest running independent venues in the Mission District allowing the independent music scene and culture to continually thrive. Always a hot fun time! And when it’s quiet it is damn near the best place to just disappear from the chaos of the city. Remember, no bar staff are certified therapists or babysitters so be kind and you may learn that a bunch of them are world traveled musicians or artists themselves and if you’re even kinder, they might just keep you glued to your seat for hours in absolute awe and hilariousness. Either way, you’re gonna get a solid pour and a good time! I was in there Wednesday night and they do indeed also...

Past week we went there and some friends was there waiting for us according to out fiends since they arrive there the security guys was very rude and they said they don't have any events and they have to pay to enter ,then me and my girls friend go to the place bar service was ok dj music was exelent good vibes and versatility of music , but, we go to second floor and spend less than 30 mins we don't like it upthere so we decide going back and security guys was very rude saying we have to pay again but in really rudness way ,one of our fiends said why we have to pay if we was there already everyone star arguing I told them I have tickets to go in there again and they call the cops that's was intolerant and excessive rude and discrimination terrible situation and terrible experience. Not recommended at least they change the racist...
