BACK AGAIN and TRULY blown away!! Mendo seriously never disappoints, it’s just the gift that keeps on giving!

As the Lifestyle Manager at Spera, I’m always looking for local spots that consistently deliver great food and great service, and Mendocino Farms SoMa has quickly become one of my go-to favorites.

The team at this location is truly exceptional. Meg, Judy, Claire, Danny, and Alek in particular always go above and beyond. welcoming, professional, and genuinely kind every time I stop by for lunch! Their attention to detail and focus on customer experience really sets this location apart.

The food is just as impressive. The Not So Fried Chicken Sandwich is a must, and the Curry Couscous and Rainbow Kale Salad are my personal favorites. Fresh, flavorful, and always satisfying! Whether it’s a quick lunch or a larger group order, the quality is consistently top-notch.

We recently launched a partnership with Mendocino Farms for our residents at Spera, and it was an easy decision to team up with the SoMa location. They’ve built something special here with great people, delicious food, and a welcoming atmosphere that keeps you coming back.

Can't say enough about the quality of both service & food I received at the 303 Second St. location of Mendocino Farms! Was tasked with ordring lunch - in a hurry - and chose Mendocino Farms based on the menu items which include unique and lean on the healthier side. (Their turkey is actually real breast and not pressed lunch meat - THANK YOU very much!) The caesar salad was one of the best I ever had with big chunks of avocado and a generous portion of chicken. I ordered several different items to get a feel for the menu and even asked for special considerations such as the removal of some of the condiments and switching out the type of bread used. They made no mistakes! The food was only to be outdone by the excellent & friendly customer service. Judy the GM, walked me through the entire menu and ordering process as she knew I was new to this. I am a full-time Dasher, and I also personally order food from this restaurant to eat. Recently, I had an order to pick up from here through DoorDash. Even though I arrived on time, I had to wait 35 minutes longer than the scheduled pickup time, and still my order was not ready. What I noticed was that the male employee at the front prioritized another customer who came after me and prepared their food first, while continuing to delay my order. On top of that, the staff here often treat Dashers poorly and show unprofessional behavior. Because of this repeated issue, I felt the need to leave this review.
