We went here after looking for places to eat that were hard to find for my friend because she’s a vegetarian. It was really cold outside, so the hostess asked if we wanted to sit outside and I did not have my jacket so we said no. We had to wait about five minutes for an inside table, but that was totally fine! I did not mind waiting. As soon as we sat down the waiter asked if we wanted any drinks or anything to get started. We ordered two dirty martinis and the Burratta as an appetizer. The Burrata was just OK by the way. Like 2 to 5 minutes later, he comes back and asked if we’re ready to order the main meals. We say we need just a couple more minutes. When he comes back again it seems like they are in a rush. Basically the waiter said yes it’s a busy night so if you guys can go ahead and order. I have never been rushed like that before at the beginning of dinner. I thought that was a really strange and rude. I ordered the Ragu pasta, which was really good and my friend ordered some spinach cheese ball things which was called a pasta, but she basically said it was just cheese balls with spinach. The martinis came with olives that were not seedless. Normally in a martini they are. Anyway, we wanted another cocktail before we left, but we decided to leave and go to spend our money at a different bar next-door that did not rush us one bit. Even when they brought the food I wanted a before and after picture of before Parmesan versus after Parmesan on my pasta, and the guy with the Parmesan looked at me like he was annoyed. Rude. You would think he would know what I was doing and what I would do with the pictures, reviews, hello !The inside of this restaurant is just OK looking as well. I rated this restaurant so low basically because of the customer service… while the hostess was really nice to get us a table, The rest of the dinner, customer service was just really bad. They kept hovering every 10 minutes to see how quickly we were eating. Never in my life.

What a local treasure! Our 2nd delicious visit! The fresh food, the staff, and ambiance is top notch! We got to Pazzia right after dinner opening with no reservation. Thankfully we were able to be seated right away and outside. It was a beautiful warm evening. Appetizers was the homemade bread basket with smooth olive oil and Burrata. Just do it! Bread experience is a must. Our group tried the following- Funghi e salsiccia pizza Pizza is thin crust. Sauce is light. Perfect. Tortelloni de Vitello Spinach pasta filled with veal in this silky mushroom cream sauce. This is a must try! Lasagna al Ragu Pasta sheets are thin, layered perfectly. Pappardelle sul cinghiale Homemade pasta in a boar ragu. Great flavor. Spritz - refreshing on a warm evening. What I love about all the dishes are no ingredient over powers the next. All fresh ingredients they partner each other well. Our 1st visit was at the end of July. It had been on my saved locations. When I realized I was around the corner it was a no brainer. I took my friends and thankfully we were also seated right away. I loved how all the regulars would pick up food and give hugs to the staff. We were impressed by each dish. While all dishes stood out the Spinach ricotta dumplings in butter & sage sauce. Wow!!! I had my friends try a bite. We all had the same reaction. The Affogato was a great ending to our meal. Thank you Pazzia for sharing your culinary masterpieces. Your staff's politeness and welcoming demeanor completes the Pazzia experience. Needless to say I will be back and make sure people know. Handsdown one of the best meals we have had.

Expecting more from an Italian restaurant. The burrate in the caprese starter had a slight bitter taste which sometimes is an indicator it may have passed its prime and was not as fresh. Will give the benefit of the doubt on this one though. The dish of the day with the gnocchi - some of the gnocchi were big enough to be undercooked resulting in a gritty and raw middle which was unpleasant. Their gorgonzola sauce was overpowering and accompanied by a slither of prosciutto and crumbs of walnuts completing the average dish. The spaghetti alle vongole pasta was cooked to perfection however it was clear the sauce hadn't come together with the pasta at the end as it should, resulting in pasta swimming in liquid. The tiramisu as a dessert was sub par unfortunately. Service was indifferent and it wasn't a busy Saturday night at the time. Overall an average experience with nothing to rave about.

I was really craving Italian when we visited this restaurant and I was so excited with all the positive reviews about the quality and authenticity of the food. We walked in on a laid back weeknight with no reservation and were sat right away, which was a happy surprise; the staff member who sat us was very friendly and welcoming. However, then we sat and waited for nearly half an hour before our waitress came to our table and once she did, she seemed inexplicably annoyed. We ordered our food immediately, given that we weren’t sure she’d come back around anytime soon. The food took awhile, but I had seen all the reviews of freshly made entrees so we didn’t mind; until it got to us. I got the lasagna (bc look at the other photos of it on here- it’s beautiful!) but mine was burnt to a crisp on the top, truly charcoaled like it had been in a oven for hours and someone remembered it at last minute and then just cut my slice and passed it out. My husband got the pork ragú pasta and it was the taste and consistency of a microwave meal. Our waitress made one last appearance, to collect our half eaten dishes, and didn’t ask how it was or anything, so we simply asked for the check. No point in complaining just to wait for another half hour to see her again. On a positive note, the outdoor seating was covered, fairly spacious and the table cleaning staff were delightful. And who knows? The couple next to us got the roast chicken and it looked delicious; maybe it was just a bad night for the pasta dishes. Unfortunately though it was overall a disappointing outing after reading through so many...
