August 28, 2002: Stopped by for the grand opening and the place was packed for lunch. We had to wait a little over an hour because there was so much demand. They were offering free food for the day to celebrate their grand opening! Workers did a great job informing people about the wait. When you order, there's a QR code to scan that allows you to track your order. The falafel and chicken plate was very tasty. Good mixture with tumeric rice, pickled onions, and other delicious sides (yams were excellent 👍). We also ordered a custom bowl with lamb 🐑 that was delicious too. The red sauce available was superb on everything! 😋 Will definitely be back for more delicious food! Thanks for the grand opening celebration 🎉.

Today was the grand opening. Got to try Mezli food for free. Ordered a falafal combo which was pretty good. The only thing preventing my from giving 5 stars is that the hummus could of been thicker. Loved the red rice base and falafal with salad! Looking forward to trying it again.

Delicious and healthy! I ordered the Classic: Chicken on Turmeric Rice. It was very filling, left me feeling energized after lunch, and the optional toppings that come with it (some nuts and sliced lemon) added some nice crunch and zest. Also, the price can't be beat!

First the good; friendly staff, good price and great tasting food. What you get is great value, so no problems there. It can be better though; the user interface is really confusing. It's not intuitive, it's hard to add, remove and substitue ingredients. I had no idea how the "slots" worked and I really didn't want to spend 5 minutes figuring it out. Second, 6-7 minutes wait for a dish is a little too long, especially since there was no one else in line. Needs to be faster or tell me beforehand how long the wait will be, a human can assemble the same dish in a minute. Look at senor sisig next door. Third, I paid for a bag, but as I was waiting for my food, I saw multiple non-customers literally stealing bags and utensils from the cabinets. Why did I pay for it if it was...

While it was cheap, the whole experience was pretty disappointing. I ordered both the Israeli Salad, and Cabbage & Carrot Slaw, and only got the cabbage and carrot slaw. Additionally, I ordered hummus, and only got a teaspoon sized serving. While it’s cheaper than most food in SF, I found the portions to be smaller too. I was given the option to pay extra for utensils, but they’re available to just grab by the pick up slot in a cabinet below regardless. You have to search for them even...
