I was in town with the brothers on vacation and we stopped in here around 10PM for some drinks and stogies. Yvette was at the bar and, though she was a bit busy with a decent crowd, almost immediately helped us out. The humidors had a semi-small, but quality selection of premium cigars to fit most any taste at the kind of pricing you'd expect from most cigar bars. The selection of beer and wine was much the same deal, so not a wide variety, but a small amount of quality selections. The Scotch and whiskey selection was the star of the show though, and my brothers and I loved chatting with Yvette about stogies and Scotch. So while this might not be the place to go if you want to stock up on a wide variety of cigars, or if you want to drink a lot of different beers and wines, it's the perfect place to go if you want to enjoy a cigar and pair it with a good drink for a couple hours. The Occidental Cigar Club seems to know its niche and fills it perfectly, and that's why I'll definitely be coming back if I find myself in San...

Where else can you go in San Francisco and smoke a cigar (your own even) inside a charming bar? No where, actually. This is a one of a kind. This place is special and the perfect escape for anyone trying to get away from the day, week, year, or era.

As mentioned, you can bring your own cigar, lighter, and cutter, but they can provide all of these two. They have a great cigar selection.

The drinks are good too, the rotating bar tenders know a thing or two when it comes to mixing. The wine list is decent as well, featuring some local and international wines.

The people watching - fantastic.

This place is on the smaller side, so if you’re in a big group (more than 6), don’t expect to find the perfect seating arrangement but you’ll be accommodated as best as possible.
