Wow, I’m really shocked. I asked to use the bathroom because it was an emergency (I just got my period and I’m wearing a white dress). The 3 women working there wanted to let me use it - but the 1 man said “I’m sorry we don’t have a public bathroom, you can walk down the street to chipotle, I’m sure you can wait.” I told him, again, it’s an emergency and I showed him the stain on my yoga mat that I was sitting on (he turned away in disgust). The girls mentioned asking their manager. He said “you want me to call my manager about this?” Implying that it wasn’t a manager’s problem and the only solution was to let me bleed down the street. Then he said the bathroom wasn’t safe for public use. (If it wasn’t safe for public use does that mean it wasn’t safe for employees either?) 🤔

I left feeling humiliated.

I hope they will address this sexism, insensitivity towards a, well, pretty common situation for women, and the lack of courage and leadership from today.

Visited after seeing good reviews while visiting the city. I went with high hopes because of all the good reviews and it did NOT disappoint. I really, REALLLYY LOVE boba, so I've had my fair share of them and, no kidding, I think this place tops almost all other places I've gone to. Definitely in the top 5, maybe even 3. I had the matcha drink and since matcha is one of my obsessions in life, I've also had a fair share of them, but the drink was really good, without bitterness, and the texture of the boba was PERFECT. There was only 1 staff taking both the orders AND making them, but she did a very good job at doing both, especially making the drink part. I also really liked the fact that they give you the drink in a hard glass bottle, which is not only environmental-friendly, but also gave me exactly what I needed as I was looking to buy this kind of bottle for my house, so everything about this visit was perfect. I just wish this place had a location in the Valley in LA, which is where I live, so I can go...

Tried house black (got a glass cup for free!) Wasn't very sweet 5.45 nvm kinda sweet. Good tea flavor. Hardish boba (not as soft as I wanted)

11.20.2023. A little confused about the pricing because I think the menu in the store is not updated. Plentea 7.25 (I added honey tapioca for 0.50). I asked for a glass bottle. Plentea is basically a potted plant drink. Tea I believe, topped with milk and crushed oreos. The oreos added a nice cookies n' cream taste and a different texture. Boba was decent, a little on the firm side. Now that I've tried plentea a couple of times, I don't think it makes my favorites list or perhaps I didn't choose the right drinks. A solid boba place, just not my FAVORITE. (I do like the bottles tho).

01.16.2024. Regular milk tea with boba. The boba was hardish. I wonder because it was sitting out for a while in the jars? Also got a fruit tea with jelly.

03.06.2024. Matcha latte potted plant + boba. YUM. oreo definitely added cookies and cream flavor which was yummy. matcha...
