We live nearby and I always take the 38 bus from the stop across the street on Geary, so we were delighted to find this local spot for pizza. The guys working when we picked up our pizza were super nice and friendly.
We got the:
Cranberry Arugula Salad Seafood Special Pizza (regular crust) Pesto Pizza (thick crust) Geary St Pizza (thin crust)
The cranberry arugula salad was really refreshing, with cherry tomatoes, cherry tomatoes and feta. I just wish there were slightly more dried cranberries, but the salad was solid overall.
The Seafood Special Pizza was really delicious. They really went hard with the garlic (which I love) and shrimp, and the green onions added another layer of flavor.
The Geary St Pizza was my favorite overall. Again, super garlicky and salty (because of the cheese), in the best way possible, with the spinach providing a nice contrast to the garlic/cheeses.
The Pesto Pizza was the only one that fell short. It looked amazing and was laden with tomatoes, bell peppers, artichokes, red onions, and black olives, but was not as flavorful as we were hoping. The pesto was a bit milder than expected, and the fresh tomatoes/red onions made the pizza a little soggy (by the time we got home), because of all the excess moisture. In retrospect, that was our fault, as fresh veggies on pizza always creates more moisture than I am a fan of on a pizza.
Other than the Pesto Pizza, we really liked everything. It is really nice that they have three different crust options (thin, regular, thick) for customization. We will be back if we're looking for a quick bite of tasty pizza...
Read moreUpdate: Enticed by the sign stating that you can order a slice of cheese pizza for $3 and pepperoni pizza for $3.50, I came here again. The service was fast and the pizza was hot and I was able to use Google Pay to pay. The pizza is in fact pretty good, and so was the service. However, I'm not going to give five stars because of the onion rings. I wish I could rate things separately. Pizza: 4/5 stars. Service: 5/5 stars. Location: 5/5 stars. Service: 5/5 stars. Onion rings: 1/5 stars. Also, the cheesecake is pretty good but they give you a really small slice for $5. Cheesecake: 4/5 stars.
Original Review: I'm sure the pizza is good, but I came to this pizzeria for onion rings. I love onion rings. Now, while onion rings aren't this place's specialty, I believe that good dishes should be accompanied by good sides. This place has horrible onion rings, slightly worse than Burger King's onion rings two blocks away. For $5, you get half an onion's worth of rings, breaded in what seems to be just flour, and put on old lettuce for some reason. Onion rings are not fancy food, so don't try to make them look fancier by putting them on lettuce. I couldn't taste any seasoning on the onion rings, not even salt. The bland onion rings come with ranch which you really need to make the onion rings have any flavor. Now, on the bright side, the onion rings were piping hot. If you want pizza, by all means, try Sabrosa Pizza but do not order the...

From NY, eaten an unbelievable amount of pizza in my life.
The food here is terrible. I chose it because of the reviews and I’m honestly posting this because I can’t believe the average score is so high and obviously either people don’t know better pizza in the Bay Area or don’t care?
We ordered a 16” pizza, mozzarella sticks, tiramisu and a Caesar salad.
I suppose the salad is fine… just lettuce and small croutons with some grated cheese
The pizza and mozzarella sticks are RANCID tasting. Each part of the pizza tasted bad. The cheese. The crust. The pepperoni itself. Everything was gross. Each of us barely finished a slice and tossed the rest. Same with the mozzarella sticks, which by the way came with no sauce. We wound up ordering Japanese...
