Ordered 2 sandwiches, yuca fries, regular fries, and mushroom empanada to go. Put the order in for a specific pick up time (12:15) about 45 minutes before.
It was so good! Food was fresh, warm, and well seasoned. On top of that, the sandwiches were shockingly large.
I had the Lomo Saltado with fries - the meat was braised perfectly so that it was tender and soft. The veggies were well cooked so that they still had structure but were softened. And the bread was perfectly bouncy and flavorful. The fries in the sandwich added extra crunch and a nice saltiness.
My partner got the Sandwich con Adobo - he said the meat was super well cooked and that the bread was amazing. He got a side of yuca fries and they were fresh and well cooked with salt and cheese.
The empanada we split and was just a great fresh empanada with dough that was flaky, meaty mushroom inside and not soggy. Highly recommend! For all of that (2 sandwiches, 2 sides, and an empanada) it was ~$71 including tax and tip which is slightly high but not unreasonable at all for the...

Read moreI visited this place after seeing it recommended by several foodies, as I wanted to try something different. It’s a to-go spot, but they have a few tables to eat there. When I arrived, the staff was very friendly, and they suggested the lomo saltado sandwich and fried yuca, along with a beer. The total was over $30 for these three items, which I found a bit pricey for what I got.
While waiting, I noticed they were getting a lot of delivery orders, which raised my expectations. However, when the food arrived, it wasn’t as impressive as I had hoped. The bread and sauce on the sandwich were good, but the lomo itself was pretty average. The fried yuca, despite having some toppings and a cheese sauce, lacked flavor, and a better seasoning could have really elevated the dish.
The atmosphere wasn’t very comfortable due to the heat, but my cold beer helped me get through the wait. Overall, it was an okay experience, but not enough to make me want to return. It’s not a bad place, just not one that fully...
