The Terrace — Restaurant in San Francisco

The food was mediocre, ustensils were dirty, and one of the staff members was rude. Ambiance is pretty nice, especially on a nice sunny day since it has outdoor seats, too.

We were looking at their menu using the QR code on each table. I ordered a Spicy Bird ($22) sandwich with Bacon ($2) and Avocado ($3) add-ons.

We had to go up to their register to order because something was wrong with their system, and when we got the receipt, it said "side bacon" for $8.

We went up to inquire about it because the price was totally different, and the waitress was just dismissive of us. Saying "well we have to charge you for it. We can't give it to you for free." We were taken aback because we weren't asking to get anything for free. Then she goes on to sarcastically show us the price she sees on the register for side bacon saying see it's $8 and when I showed her the price breakdown we saw on the menu she goes "well what do you want me to give you the refund for $2 then?"

The whole interaction was just very off-putting. We were only looking for some clarification, but all we got was passive-aggressive responses from her for no reason. I hope their service improves, and I hope others don't experience...

The squash flatbread pizza is really good! While flatbreads can often be crackers thin (especially in California) this had a nice crust. It was the perfect balance of veggies and cheese. Also tried the rainbow quinoa, which had a salsa like flavor that made it very enjoyable! Highly recommend getting your lunch here while at the CA...
