I just finished writing a review of the California Academy of science and was amazed by it. I then seen a special place for a review of the Morrison Planetarium. I was so impressed by this place I decided to write another one just about it.
I have always wanted to go to a planetarium as I am really fascinated by space and the vastness of it. I didn't know what happens at a Planetarium I thought they just talked about space and put some pictures on a wall.
Unbeknownst to me it was the most amazing thing I have ever seen. Put yourself in a 95ft snow globe and relax. Being a BIG space geek it took me 10 seconds into the 1st show for my mind to totally explode 🤯🤯🤯🤯 for what I was seeing in this screen.
My sister and I went to it and we walked out after only to book the next 2 shows. She said she got goosebumps watching it a few times.
The 2nd show was about coral reefs, it was good but the last show done by Christian, our guide to the stars, blew my mind. I can not say enough about what I witnessed coming out of there. It makes me want to tour the world watching planetarium shows. If you even like space and or exploration you have to go here. It gave me a whole new lease on space and the universe and l like to like I am well versed in the topic. A few times I swear the room was moving....knowing damn well it wasn't. It might be not for people with motion sickness. Seeing how small a grain of sand we are in the vastness of space is crazy.
Get to the planterium and check it out....if that's your think, you...

Read moreI'd definitely recommend a visit to the planetarium. I was sceptical that this was a worthwhile use of my time given I only had a weekend in the city, but the half hour showing was comfortable, fun and educational; just lean back and be immersed in the universe!
Particularly impressive was how current the information was. The presentation is apparently remade a few times per year anyway, but at one point the in-house narrator interrupted to give the results of some findings from the last month.
The only reason I could find to advise against visiting is that afterwards you can't help but leave with a feeling that you're an immeasurably small part of a very large universe. If that might bother you, maybe...
