Wen's Kichen used to be our family's Go-To Chinese restaurant in my neighborhood for years. Until the restaurant change of ownership in 2023. My receny experience was extremely unpleasant.
I called in ahead to check if a menu item is available but received RUDE and unprofessional behavior from the owner. For a simple question, she acts irate and impatient, instead a direct answer, but ask me to find out on their Google map page and make an online order for pick-up. I told her we are dining in, and she told us they are closing soon, while it's 2+ hrs away from closing. On top of that, when we walk in with our online order receipt waiting to be seated. She demanded an extra $2 per person be paid in front to set us the table. Even after that, the food was served in a takeaway plastic box.
This kind of behavior is unacceptable for any business owner. She made me feel humiliated and uncomfortable with her condescending attitude. It's clear that she has no regard for customer service and does not value her patrons. Plus, their food is only mediocre.
I would not recommend Wen's Kichen to anyone again under this current...
Read moreI ordered the signature chicken chow mein and fried prawns to go and when the old woman at the counter gave me my bag it was the wrong order. She gave me chicken FRIED RICE, not chow mein like I asked. When I called to try and correct her mistake, she denied ever hearing me say chow mein and insisted I had said fried rice. And flat out refused to correct her mistake. She wouldn't even admit she was wrong, she just said I misspoke. Super annoying. At least admit you're wrong and say you can't fix your mistake. Instead she tries to make me feel like I'm dumb, all to save their business a few dollars.
Tldr Just letting people know that the customer service will never admit they made a mistake! And won't correct their own wrong orders, all to save a few bucks! I'm sure if they had cameras with audio they'd hear me clearly say...
Read moreThis is one of the worst services I’ve ever experienced. The lady working there is grumpy and has no patience to answer any questions regarding the menu. The same restaurant is on DoorDash with descriptions stating different types of meat in the same dish and when I ask about it, she was like, don’t look at the menu on Google and just scan QR code which has menu but not the descriptions of any food. I am not open to eat any meat. I just eat chicken. When I asked her for clarification saying I just wanted chicken, she was frustrated. I don’t want to go into a restaurant that treats a customer like this. I have the right to know what I am eating. She’s not feeding me for free. I walked out of the restaurant after this.
