Halal Green Apple Market — Local services in San Francisco

Nice folks. Interesting selection, halavah, spices, some produce. Halal meats. I've never gotten meat here, but it sure looks fresh and clean. And if you need a fresh lambs head with eyeballs, for that special stew, you may want to check this place out.

My impression, these folks are proud of their store and what they offer, and they are gentlemen when dealing with their clientele. A gem in the Tender-Nob.

Also a go-to if you want to give a dressed lamb as a gift to your Muslim friends at Eid al Ftir.

Ok. I haven't been here in a while. I stopped in for ground beef and spices.

Again my consistent vibe was, these folks are proud of the butcher work thaey do, proud of their shop and service....

The one kid ground fresh halal beef for me, and he had the biggest smile.

One of the two Halal butchers/markets in the Tenderloin area. Clean, well-stocked, and well lit. The meat is very neatly wrapped and displayed. Though the prices aren't listed, it was my experience that you just pick out what you want and you'll receive a reasonable price. There's an outstanding, wide selection of spices. There are also sweets, desserts, and other Middle Eastern Goods as well as mundane, typically American sugary drinks. Communication might require a little extra attention and effort, but if you're patient and polite, it is a very pleasant shopping experience. Clean store. Friendly clerk. They were open earlier than other markets here but be advised, this is a market lacking the market usuals. Simple items such as dog food are not offered. Its a shame because I walked a ways to get there just to be told to keep going another block, towards california produce. So the (produce store) which typically indicates it sells farm grown food, carries dog food.
